Sat Rouvy på pause sidste år..og ups lige pludselig blev jeg trukket 19.99 euro, da de uden at gøre opmærksom på, bare startede et aktivt medlems skab i gang igen. Selvfølgelig her når udendørs sæsonen lige er startet. Man kunne godt gøre opmærksom på, at man vil gøre medlems skabet aktivt, ved at spørge om man er interesseret. Jeg går sgu da ikke dagligt og tænker over hvornår man kan risikere at blive gjort aktiv...har da andet at lave. Så en reminder er da det mindste man kan forlange. Så nu vil jeg da holde mig til Zwift....Rouvy bliver det aldrig mere.

It's so hard to cancel, You'll cancel and just get charged again.

Scam: They stole my money by activating my account without notifying me. I contacted them, but they left me without an answer.
Responding to Anna. You see Lucy has a different opinion on that: “ Just a quick heads-up: ROUVY subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Your subscription was paused in July 2025. This pausing is temporary and can last for up to 180 days. After that, the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it”.

Disappointing experience with ROUVY.

I signed up using a trial code but was charged for a full subscription anyway, with no confirmation that the trial had been applied. On top of that, the app didn’t work properly on my system (display issues), making it unusable.

Support kept pointing to my setup rather than addressing the actual problems, and I had to push just to get a refund.

The refund has now been processed, but the whole experience felt unnecessarily difficult and frustrating.

Wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

I'd like to recommend it, it can work well, do what its meant to, especially on downloaded routes. The main problem I've had is with download speed - often I'm getting a couple of megabytes a minute which makes getting a typical route of 2GB more or less impossible. It seems to be the Rouvy server is the problem, I have no problem downloading from other sites hundreds of times faster. On odd days it does work and getting a route just takes a few minutes, no problem, but its unpredictable. I've asked if they have plans to fix this but they don't answer.
A few other niggles like unpredictable demands to login etc when I'm warmed up and just want to ride, but the download speed is what they really need to fix.

It's not easy to build a great application, and Rouvy is the perfect example of this. I got the 7 day trial, and did 4-5 rides - every, single, time there was problems with connection or something got in the way for getting to ride on time with the group. I want my money back.

Rouvy is a serious platform for training, but it’s different than something like Zwift or TrainerRoad. Whether it’s right for you is dependent on the kind of stimulus and environment that motivates you. For me, I like the real-world specificity because Rouvy uses actual video routes with gradient-matched resistance, not a game like world. Moreover, it excels at helping me with TT pacing, climbing rhythm, some race course recon (if it is in the library).

A step beyond the (also excellent) Strava. T

I love this program! The routes are real world landscapes /areas that I have rode in the past and when projected onto a large screen provides a very realistic experience. The avatar is far more realistic than other programs. It integrates sexlessly with both my Garmin Connect and Strava apps. When the weather is less than a optimal for outdoor riding, ROUVY is the next best thing.

Have been a subscriber for several years and have been generally quite happy with the platform. There is an amazing variety of routes—both in terms of location and terrain. No matter what sort of cycling you’re into, there will be places for you to ride. There is so much variety that searching for exactly what you want can be a bit challenging. Quality of the “official” routes is quite high, the “community” routes can vary. The AR technology mostly works well although there can be glitches especially on the non-official routes. The offering continues to evolve and improve with time and the operators are responsive to user input. I have used several different virtual cycling platforms and overall, this is the best one available.

I signed onto Rouvy this last December, and it's been a great experience. I've used a variety of training platforms, and Rouvy's real-video experience is just captivating. The feedback from the platform to your smart trainer is exquisite - the sensation of the road gradient is spot-on. If you want to know exactly where the hill ends, just look up ahead like you do in real life - it will be right there. Exactly. And the transition of your trainer resistance as the gradient changes is seamless.

There are endless beautiful routes to choose from, and you can match the profile of the route to your training goals very easily. There are tons of fun group rides and races to choose from, too.

The only thing I might criticize a little is the Workouts. They are mostly very beginner level. As a long-time structured training acolyte, I can rarely find a pre-made workout to fit me. And, the Workout mode will stop if you try to "coast" at all, even for a second. This is fine for some workout types, but for hard anaerobic or VO2 work, there is no loss of training effect with coasting for 20 secs or so after an interval.

But, most of this is easily solved with the Workout Creator, which is very easy to use. If you know the workout you need, you can build it easily. And, the Rouvy team is always building in improvements - I'd probably get this change if I asked!

All in all, I'm super-pleased. In fact, I often elect to ride Rouvy even on nice days because it's more interesting than riding the local neighborhood route yet another time. I love it.

The rides and workouts are stellar. Worth every penny

Been riding on Rouvy since August 2022. It is everything I hoped it would be. I see places I could never go, and the routes are very realistic. Rouvy is helping to keep this old Kentucky Clydesdale healthy.

80 hours later and still going strong. Its fun.

I like to bike with different routes.
Without it, I wouldn't be riding in the winter, snow and ice on the road (MA)

This indoor cycling app is so fun. I enjoy being able to ride uo giant mountains and experience cycling routes all over the World.

i left a previous review about the new update removing ghost riders in the workouts, and the reply was that they were still available. nobody in any rouvy groups can find out where to turn the ghost riders back on, and no link or explanation was provided by the rouvy staff. if they are available-- then where, or how to bring them back??

Been using Rouvy since just after release. Found it much better than the alternatives. However in the past 18 months or so the direction whoever is in charge is taking it is illogical. Tag line is ride outside inside, this is morphing into drive outside inside. I doubt anyone at Rouvy knows what a bicycle is let alone has ever ridden one. It also obvious no one at Rouvy uses the app nor understands how computers and networks function. Best example is “corner braking”. I understand the concept but the implementation is immersion ruining as brakes are applied based on speed but not what is on screen. Stop sign, red light, T junction? No brakes… in real life outside when brakes are applied the effort required to ramp back up increases but not on Rouvy. Prior to this abomination there was a speed limit of 44.7 mph which is fine. Just wish Rouvy would add a toggle to turn it off so it becomes my choice. Should never force their bad ideas on the paying customers. Add it but let me decide if I want to use it.
