THIS IS A SCAM - I was totally duped into thinking this was a Leeds based company (as on the advert) when in fact it's a cheap, rubbish bag made in China. I'm so angry that I've paid good money for something not worth £5. When the item arrived it is such poor quality with webbing for handles - not like the one in the advert.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SUBSTANDARD RUBBISH
To cap it all, to return this would cost me £25 .
I am absolutely livid that this can happen. I've certainly learnt my lesson

Complete scam - the product they send is not the item photographed on their website, and they refuse to comply with UK law and cover the cost of the return. They have repeatedly told me I will have to pay to return it to them, which is not legal when the item is not as described.

Another rubbish set of 'craft work' items from China...costly returns for refund??

This cumpany is a scam, do not order any bags from them. the bags are very poor and nothing like the handcrafted bags the advertised, they are printed canvas. Rosiecottage used to be Sarah Cambridge.they con people out of there money and when you try to get a refund you have to send the bags back to China. So do not buy these bags you will lose your money.

Just got my order it isn't anything like what they show, just tried getting a return form via email and it just keeps getting sent back to me.so now don't know how to get my money back

As said by another reviewer this company is Hong Kong based. Interestingly, checking the Hong Kong business register, the company (MARQUELLE LTD) was only registered on 17th June 2026. There appears to be a number of companies with different names that all offer identical products but I don't know if they are all related, I suspect they are even though the prices vary.

The advertising for "Rosie Cottage" clearly shows the company as GB based in Leeds, established in 2011

There is NO Rosie Cottage in Leeds (UK).

The address given (at the bottom of the Rosie Cottage web site) is in Casper, Wyoming but on street view (and with some more digging,) the address appears to be for an unrelated printing company.
The phone number on the Rosie Cottage site comes back to Phoenix, Arizona.

They are good at corresponding to emails, they are signed from "Jane" but they are all sent between 2am and 5am - Leeds/UK - I think not.

We finally got the "product" today, after waiting 3 weeks, firstly it was the wrong item and the quality is shocking, well it would be if there was any quality at all. The design is not sharp and poorly printed onto the fabric.
I can't see how to add photos to this review but if I could you would see the issues.

Don't know if I was the only one to read this as a bedding set but it isn't, there are two pillow cases and a "throw"

The company expect me to pay at least £25 to return the item for either exchange or refund but there's not a chance in Hell that I am going to throw good money after bad.

Avoid this using this company. I placed and paid for an order which never arrived, even after several misleading messages assuring me that the order was being processed. On searching I discovered that (despite appearances to the contrary) this company is based in China. While the marketing information looks as if you are dealing with a UK outfit, it is entirely misleading. Do not get caught out!

The items are NOT as shown in advertisement. Poor quality and look cheap.

This is a scam. They are in China and they are only prints not real stuff. They refuse to cancell the order even though they had't sent it. They said they were having trouble printing it. Saty far away from these rippoff merchants.

The picture of the bag shows a textured cloth and implies sewn designs. The design on the bag that arrived is a printed image on a cheap, line material!

AVOID. The company is based in China not Leeds as indicated onbtheir website. Ordered 3 laundry baskets andvreceived one item which was not as advertised. Complete scam. I will be notifying the bank to charge back

This website appears to be based in the UK based when you enter it as the home page states:

Free shipping by Royal Mail and shows several images that "suggest" it is based in the UK.

However the website is actually managed by a company based in Hong Kong:

based in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong
Company Registration No: 80655506

Having ordered from the site (believing it was UK based) I received tracking information for the two products I ordered that originated out of Hong Kong and not from the UK. They also used Evri and not Royal Mail. Unfortunately the items that were delivered in my opinion were poor-quality goods and not the same as the items pictured on their website.

They do have a refund policy but please be aware if you want to return items under "their" refunf policy you have to pay the return costs:
"Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, from approximately £25".

I have emailed the company quoting the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requesting pre paid return labels as the products "do not match their description or are of poor quality" and await a response.
