A very special day outside the city! Highly recommend. Great bikes, excellent guide Alex and delicious lunch. We learned a lot and really enjoyed the day.

Our e-bike tour of Rome with Alex was nothing short of phenomenal. Alex is not just a tour guide—he’s a storyteller and historian. He brought the Eternal City to life with fascinating stories that went far beyond the typical tourist facts. Every stop came with a tale—some funny, some profound, all incredibly engaging. You could tell he truly loves what he does, and that energy was infectious.
The route was well-paced and thoughtfully planned, mixing iconic landmarks with hidden gems we never would have found on our own. The e-bikes made it easy and enjoyable, even through the cobblestone streets. We covered so much ground without ever feeling rushed.
Alex was attentive, friendly, and always made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. His knowledge of Rome—both its grand history and its local quirks—gave us a whole new appreciation for the city.

Lorenzo was a fantastic guide. Our bike tour was one of our favourite tours of our trip. We felt very safe and we would definitely recommend booking a tour with Roma starbike.

One of my favorite activities from my trip. Alex was a great tour guide, making sure we were all comfortable cycling and keeping us entertained with interesting stories as opposed to the usual blah blah blah of this happened when you get on tours. Lots of stops with a lot to see and a terrific off the beaten road lunch spot. The quality of the bikes were also top notch.

Our guide Lorenzo was wonderful. He was genuinely concerned about our safety (and level of fun) at all times. His English was excellent. Lorenzo is very educated and not only took us to sites but allowed plenty of time for phoyos and shared a lot of relevant information. From start to finish an excellent experience for us !

We stayed in Rome for 3.5 days, and this was BY FAR my whole family's favorite thing we did during our stay. We did the 5 hour Ancient Appian Way Bike Tour including Catacombs, Aqueducts, and Brunch on September 11, 2025. It was well worth the money! The bikes were in excellent condition. There were several stops along the way where our wonderful tour guide Alex would tell us interesting stories about the history of the particular site we were stopped at. The catacombs tour was very cool, and the "brunch" was beyond our expectations! We stopped at a small country club type restaurant where we had the best pasta we ate during our visit to Rome. Our guide Alex was funny, friendly, and very easy to understand. Our experience was incredible, and I would recommend this bike tour to anyone visiting Rome!

We had an absolutely spectacular bike tour in Rome! Our guide Marco was outstanding — he had a deep knowledge of history and handled the dynamics of Roman traffic with total confidence, which made us feel very safe. We were traveling with our two-year-old baby and were able to adapt the tour without any problems, even taking some breaks at playgrounds for her to enjoy. Everything was perfectly organized, informative, and fun. Highly recommend this experience!

I did the evening city sightseeing tour with Sadaf and the morning Via Appia tour with Iman. They were both wonderful tour guides. Sadaf navigated through the city impressively and I felt safe following her. She shared very interesting history along the way. Iman also has a wealth of knowledge and was engaging and really funny. Excellent customer service all around, the company was responsive to questions before the tours.

The tours are long - bring a water bottle and snacks. There are fountains to refill along the way. The Via Appia tour is especially bumpy, so be prepared for that. The e-bikes do most of the work.

With a very short stopover in Rome, this was the perfect way to enjoy the city without too much effort and with such a great guide. The ebike made it exceptionally easy to be amenable to people of all fitness levels. I felt like all of the people that worked there were actively thinking about how to make the group happy and how to ensure we had the best experience.
