My experience with Role Raise has been extremely positive. They have highly experienced Data Engineering mentors who are deeply knowledgeable and take the time to explain concepts in a clear, structured, and detailed manner. The guidance is practical, insightful, and has helped me build a strong understanding of real-world data engineering practices.

Great experience, currently a total of 17 1-2hrs sessions across 3 different mentors socializing in different topics (SQL, DE concepts, Project application).

Very much a case of what you put in, you get out, but despite that, mentors are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating per student. Ask questions, make mistakes, fully utilize the resources they offer. If you do your part, they’ll do theirs.

I’ve also found that additional YouTube research, setting up a personal Microsoft sql server management studio, reading documentations, and datacamp resources has helped me as I am shifting from another field.

Hoping to apply to data engineering roles with the skills and projects by month 4-6.

The people are very professional and polite. For the time being I find to like a great opportunity for further learning and developing. I hope to get well educated for my further career steps in finding the job in data engineering domain.

Great mentors with extensive IT experience that focus on building a solid foundation and understanding core principles!!! While transitioning into data engineering I had a difficult time finding resources that focus on building a solid DE foundation. Majority of them focused on tools instead. The mentors here do a great job laying out a clear & concise learning path which helped take out the guesswork and time spent learning unneeded skills. My favorite thing about their mentorship program is how they always encourage questions and are able to explain the difficult concepts in an easily digestible way

I have taken their Data Engineering mentorship when they were setting up RoleRaise, I was lost before meeting my mentors. I did couple of paid video course but nothing seemed to pay off. Now with their 6 month plan, and resume customisation I have started getting calls for job even before finishing. I feel confident with what to say, how to talk to recruiters and how to give interviews. I am still to land a job which I am pretty confident I will in sometime, I will update about it here!
