About Rip Curl – Surfing mates Doug Warbrick and Brian Singer first began making surfboards in Torquay, Victoria in March 1969 and pretty quickly moved into wetsuits in December later that year. At the time the pair thought it would be a good way to finance the winter’s surfing at nearby Bells Beach Australia, so they went for it. Today, and still based in Torquay, Rip Curl is an international surfing brand trading across the world and specializing wetsuits, surf-watches, mountainwear, swimwear, boardshorts and apparel. The brand is represented by the world’s best surfers, including current WSL World Champion Gabriel Medina and 3 X WSL World Champion Mick Fanning and continues to sponsor the world’s longest running surfing event, The Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach each Easter. It is safe to say that despite its growth over the past 40 years its feet are still firmly planted in the sand. In the beginning, Rip Curl was the vehicle for the perfect lifestyle: “The Search” for perfect waves, fun and adventure. That same quest for a lifestyle based on the coast and the mountains permeates the company today and its crew is encouraged to live their own search as they build products and brand experiences for our customers.

Sans problem

Malheureusement le maillot de bain n’est pas marché, mais le service client de Rip Curl était impeccable. J’ai ré envoyé le colis facilement et j’ai reçu le remboursement très vite.

Misleading “Free Returns” & No Customer Service Response

I ordered from Rip Curl because their website advertises free returns. The parcel arrived without the return label that the returns invoice said should be included.

I have contacted customer service several times to request the correct label but have never received a reply. Without their help, I can’t return the item, so the promise of free returns feels completely misleading.

Very disappointing experience from a brand I expected better from.
