Was a great day and the instructor was very helpful and informative massively helped me coming from no riding experience except on a scooter over 20years ago to helping me ride a manual bike. 100% recommend 🤙

Very disappointed by the instructor Charle's behaviour: he always talks aggressively, and acts like he's about to hit you if you have any questions, doesn't even bother to listen to you, feels like they paid me to shout at me, and there's not any students priority, He was like the guy " Immigrants are coming to my country and taking our jobs"
Why did all the students with Charles fail, and all the students with other instructors pass?

I wasn't able to communicate back to him, so I needed to ask for an explanation of his question cause it wasn't clear to me. His last question was, " look at you possition, look at you possition, what is your possition" I was at the possition 2 on the road, where i use to be, i just wanted to ask for an explanation, didn't even bothered to listen to me and took us back to their place, and told me that i failed even though i answered 9 questions out of 10. Told me to get out and book another CBT test. There was no valid reason for rejection other than the communication issues. He always wants to reject people and instruct them to book another CBT test so they can earn more money. It's a kind of scam; stay away from this instructor. Immediately change instructors if you are with Charle. No one will pass if you are with Charles.

I'm about to report this to the ActionFraud team so they can go and investigate.

used their peace of mind insurance policy twice and both times they gave me my next cbt free for failing super awesome and this allowed me to have the courage (and finances) to keep doing my cbt on a manual.

Brilliant team at 1066 in Bexhill, so glad I made the extra journey to pick these lot. Johnny was so patient with me even though I had to take it slower, got me out riding confident by the end of it like it was nothing. Can’t recommend them enough.

Excellent instructor, went at my pace and explained everything very clearly. Would highly recommend.

Absolute shocking do not recommend this place, we received an email saying training started at 7:15 and to be there for 7am which we arrived, only to be met by a rude gentlemen saying that they had emailed us and it was 8:30 start, no email ever came to our email address so I’d love to see the proof here.
Then my son showed he is competent and safe but because of the other 2 in the group wasn’t the instructor decided that they was all unsafe and he wasn’t taking them out on the road, then said it will be £120 if you book again. After paying £200 to book today I don’t think £120 is a very fair price to say they couldn’t tell him why he wasn’t safe. Will not be going back here, ruined a 16 years confidence from the first minute of him arriving. Shocking

I attended my CBT training on 28 July 2026. I arrived at 8:15 AM, before the start time, and introduced myself. The classroom session was fine, and I scored 10/10 on the Highway Code and road signs test because I had already passed my CBT before and only needed to renew it after it expired.
During the practical training, I felt the instructor shouted at students instead of calmly explaining our mistakes. One student had limited English but was trying his best. Rather than giving him extra guidance, the instructor kept shouting at him and then told him he could not continue. I believe with better instruction he may have improved.
When it was my turn to ride on the road, I made a couple of minor mistakes. One problem was that I could not clearly hear the instructor because the headset was not working properly, and I was not given a microphone to communicate back. I explained that I could not hear the instructions clearly, but the instructor dismissed my concern and told me not to blame the headset.
I was then told I had failed the CBT. I was very surprised because I have previously passed my CBT and have ridden over 22,000 miles in London. I understand that nobody is guaranteed to pass, and I accept that I made some mistakes, but I expected constructive feedback and professional instruction rather than being shouted at.
Overall, I was disappointed with the instructor's attitude and communication. I hope the company improves its training approach so that students are treated with more patience and respect.

Excellent brill at explaining things would definitely recommend to people

​I had Ben as my instructor for my CBT, and he was brilliant. He went above and beyond to make sure every student thoroughly understood every concept and felt confident on the bike. Patient, clear, and extremely professional—couldn't recommend him enough!

All training from the start till end was absolutely amazing. My instructor Jay was very clear and correct, amazing guidens in the road, explaining theory and how to ride with confidence . I'm really glad I meet really good and professional instructor. Many thanks.

Me and my husband had an Amazing day thank you to my instructor Bjorn he made me feel so comfortable especially when I had no experience on geared motorcycles or any motorcycle definitely be booking our full license in the near future
