Unclear terms and aggressive follow up
I had no idea I was entering into any agreement with Reveni when placing an order through Ego.
I returned my items correctly and in good faith, yet I have since received multiple emails claiming items were missing and that I now owe £22.50, despite the original item being of very low value. The communication has already escalated to mention of legal action, which feels completely disproportionate and unnecessarily intimidating.
There is a clear lack of transparency around how and when Reveni becomes involved in the returns process, as well as what customers are actually agreeing to. This was not made clear at the point of purchase or return.
After experiencing this myself and reading many similar reviews describing the same issues, including unexpected charges and difficulty resolving disputes, this appears to be a wider issue rather than a one off situation.
I would strongly advise others to be cautious when using retailers that partner with this service.
