Dear George,

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received.

I paid £140 expecting a professional CV, LinkedIn profile, and supporting documents. Unfortunately, the documents provided were of a very poor standard and did not meet the quality that was advertised.

The CV contained numerous spelling, grammar, formatting, and content issues. It was not ATS-friendly as promised and required substantial corrections. Despite providing feedback and opportunities to resolve these concerns, the final result remained unacceptable.

I am particularly frustrated that PayPal has refused my claim despite the fact that I do not believe the service delivered matched what was advertised or what I paid for.

As a customer, I feel misled and let down by the quality of work provided. I will be sharing my honest experience through appropriate review platforms so that other customers can make informed decisions before purchasing your services.

I would still welcome a reasonable resolution to this matter, but as things stand, I remain extremely dissatisfied with the service I received.

The company was quick and responsive. They have a nice form to fill out to help getting the information they need to write the resume, which I found helpful.

However, I picked a resume writer to make sure I had the best SEO, catchiest resume, best grammar, and succinct responsibilities. My resume writer did several renditions and she was proper fast, which was nice. However, I would write notes or questions about the resume and she hardly responded to them. Just made what I felt like was minimal changes and resubmitted it to me to review. After the 3rd draft, I gave up and decided I wasn't getting a resume much greater than I could have done myself with some time. I thought some of it was too generic and some of the job responsibilities were redundant - like she did not take the time to understand what the responsibilities were. There were a couple of times where I noted that a couple of bullet points were the same responsibility, just worded a bit differently.
The final copy's grammar was awkward in some parts, with incongruent tenses in the same sentence. I ended up running most of it through Chat GBT to just try to quickly condense and clarify some of the sentences. I also found a duplicate job responsibility.

Once I agreed to finalizing the resume, I assumed we would then move on to work on the cover letter and discuss the Linked In, but I was provided a finalized cover letter with the resume with no discussion. The Linked In report was fairly generic. With my resume's summary, key competencies, and some job responsibilities just copy/pasted with some generic tips on Linked In engagement that I already knew from just reading a few google articles.

Perhaps I unfairly thought this would be more like working with a consultant, with more personalized conversation and planning. This is a more affordable resume service and it will save you some time if you're starting from scratch. But for me, after spending time filling out the form and reviewing and suggesting edits, and now editing it a bit more myself, I don't think it saved me enough time for the money.

I had high expectations when I hired them. As a job seeker and professional, I expected that would go to each line of my job description and improve each of them. They mostly did grammar and a format that does not even work for normal job postings. I also paid for the Linked review, and the few recommendations they made were very poor. I would say this is for professionals that are just starting, do not have much in their resume, and just need some grammar improvement (if they do not have a person to do this for them already)
