Restrap Arvostelua 

This weekend, 3 friends and I completed the King Alfred’s Way. All of us used the 14l saddle bag, and we had an assortment of additional bags too including the race small top tube bag, race 7l bar bag, medium frame bag and regular top tube bag.

I wanted to share how amazingly well the products all performed. The saddle bag in particular is incredible - despite an incredibly bumpy ride over 4 days, you would not even know it was there – which is ideal. All the other units stood up to the rigorous conditions perfectly. The whole group was extremely impressed. Thanks for putting together incredibly well made products – and great they are made in the UK too.

After 9 years my frame bag had seen better days. The team were great at organising and then doing repairs to it under warranty, they replaced most of the original bag without any question.

Ordered a custom frame bag at fairly short notice for a big upcoming trip, and the team did such an amazing job to not only produce an amazing product that I love, but also managed to get it to me in quick time, to even give me some time to test it out before travelling! Amazing service!

I lost one of the screws on my new switch pannier frame whilst on tour. I emailed to ask what I should order as replacement & Chris immediately replied & asked what address to use in case I was still travelling. I was very impressed with his prompt, helpful service & received several new screws free of charge. I intend to continue to use Restrap for all my bike-packing needs!

Almost all of my bike gear is from Restrap. The bags are very solid and completely waterproof, eventhough I don't take a really good care of them, and Restrap provide spare parts for the pieces that might break or get lost (buckles, straps, cords, etc) and an excellent customer service.
And cherry on top, most (all?) of the products are vegan.
100% would buy again.

Bought the Switch Rack and 2 Panniers direct, plus other Restrap items from Sigma Sports. Great quality and look super on the bike.
A rush of blood to the head meant I over tightened one of the fastening bolts on the pannier cages and rounded off the bolt.
One short email later I had advice from Chris on how to deal with removal of the bolt, plus a few bolts in the post for good measure. First class service indeed and real breath of fresh air in the modern world.

I had a minor pannier repair after years of use. The team responded quickly with a spare part which fixed the problem. Great service- no charge.

I’m a long term user of Restrap gear, including frame bags, fast bikepacking seatpost bags and large pannier bags etc.

Following a week touring in Tuscany with the pannier bags, which remained dry inside despite some very heavy rain, I bent some of the hardware and upon contacting Restrap they have kindly provided replacement hardware free of charge. (Note that the bent hardware did not stop me being able to use the pannier bags, and I’d thoroughly recommend them for bike touring).

Their proactive approach to customer service has been particularly refreshing in today’s market and I’m pleased to have bought equipment from a company that’s promoting both innovation and UK manufacturing.

I used the Rolltop Hydration Vest last weekend during a 100km hike (in 24 hours)
Not bikepacking, but it was perfect for this purpose.
Aside from this I have most parts from the Race edition and a lot of accessories - fantastic pieces of gear.
And the one support case I did have was handled quickly and without complications.

I’d been given the holster system as a gift. The head tube on my custom bike is stupidly long - 270 mm and unsurprisingly the provided straps were too short. I returned them and Chris and the team kindly swapped them FOC for longer ones. We did an epic weekend trip. Including gravel and two hours of rain. Everything sturdy - no wobbles and all bone dry. Very pleased.

Ordered some pedal straps, arrived quick but missing some hardware. Chris on their support email was super quick to reply and posted some new hardware the same day I contacted them. Great customer service

Expérience décevante concernant le SAV sur une paire de sangles pour porte-bagages Restrap Rack Straps Noir.

Le produit présente un défaut généralisé : les anneaux en caoutchouc se fissurent et se cassent progressivement, rendant l’usage du produit problématique.

Après signalement, la solution proposée a été une réparation à effectuer par mes propres moyens. Cette option n’est pas réaliste, car elle nécessite de découdre et recoudre une partie de la sangle, ce qui demande des compétences et un équipement spécifiques dont je ne dispose pas.

Malgré plusieurs échanges, aucune solution de remplacement claire n’a été proposée, uniquement une orientation vers une réparation difficilement applicable.

Le service client manque de réactivité et les réponses apportées ne permettent pas une prise en charge satisfaisante du défaut constaté, malgré une garantie commerciale annoncée comme « à vie ».

J’ai acheté une sacoche sur mesure, très bien réalisée. Mon colis a été bloqué à la douane, je leur ai envoyé un mail, et ils ont tout réglé pour moi directement. Très bon service après vente!

Love my bag, fits nicely on my bag and holds all my valuables well I cycle to work, nicely designed and very useful!

I bought a Small Frame bag (amongst other things) from Restrap in 2019. It has travelled with me for thousands of miles. Eventually one of the little clasps broke and the velcro was wearing out a bit.

I sent it off to Restrap for a repair last week. They repaired it for free, and threw in a nice little iron-on patch.
