I live in the Elgin building, and it is very beautiful, quiet, and clean. I recommend rentals ottawa for sure.

Absolutely horrible company to rent with.

We've lived in the same apartment for two years without any problems until the owner passed away and sold the apartment to rentals Ottawa. I have never had a worse experience with any company in my life, there has been constant renovations and disruptions for the last 5 months. Constantly shutting off utilities like water and power without any warning several times a week, entering people’s apartments without any notice or authorization to change things and then leaving a big mess in our apartments. They removed the laundry machines without any warning, and then didn’t add new laundry machines for 2 months, and then didn’t communicate to anyone that they got new machines. The new machines by the way cost $8 as opposed to the old ones which were $2. They accidentally cut the Bell lines to the building and our internet stopped working. There is constantly scaffolding in the halls, in the way of the door. I along with at least 10 other people I have talked to in the building have complained about specifically their horrible communication, and the company has done nothing.

I understand they want to upgrade the apartments to charge more money, but the way they’ve conducted themselves is inexcusable. At the end of the day, real people live here and our lives are impacted. I can’t tell you how many times me or my fiance have need to get to work and can’t shower because they shut off the water. How many times my Saturday has been ruined by loud power tools at 7am.
