Fraud

I would not recommend using this company if you need to send money.
I used their app to send £200 to my mother in Ghana on Friday, 12/12/25, around 12 noon. As of 15/12/25, she still has not received the money.

The app shows the transaction as delivered, but the money has not been delivered to her. I have been communicating with the Remit Home support team, and they keep telling me to “wait one hour.” I have been told this repeatedly since Friday, with no resolution.

At this point, I do not believe the company is reliable. If you want peace of mind, I would advise not using this service. I am still trying to get my money refunded.

Remit Home has horrible operations, the entire remittance company is highly incompetent because i don't understand why a Simple reversal transaction has to take forever to be done. The level of incompetence by Remit Home remittance company is appalling. People should be careful dealing with them.

Very dishonest service

Very dishonest service. They increase the rate as the highest rate and indirectly charge you transfer fee making their rate the lowest in the market. Meanwhile they are advertising as 0% fee. If you are using to Ghana don't use them. Misleading and dishonest service

Since I begin using this app among others so far remit home is the best in terms of their agilities of responding queries and the best part of them is the exchange rate in the market.although sometime back they had some issues in ghana of releasing fund but it was sort in the shortest time possible given details information about the incident,so what we have to consider is that their good is more than their bad.no one is perfect.in conclusion remit home is the best recently in the market keep it up.

A huge red flag guys, be warned!

A huge red flag guys! Don't be swayed by the rates! Be warned of this company unless you want to go through the stress and heartache I'm currently going through. I'm only given a one star because that's the least available. I sent £3,300 from my bank in the UK to my bank in Ghana in hope it would be credited within 24hrs per their own policy. It's 8th December and I'm still chasing them. I've contacted their customer service pretty much every day since 1st December and it's exactly a week now but all they tell me is they don't have any control over the payment system in Ghana and that they have already released they money from their side in the UK and so I should wait, they will credit my account today, each time. I've since asked for a refund trice, but they refuse to accept refund request. Guys please don't use them for whatever reason, especially if you need your transfer to complete urgently. This almost sounds like a scam company that shouldn't be permitted to operate anywhere in the UK. If I don't get my money credited today, I'll escalate to the FCA. Be warned or use them at your own peril.

I sent £128 which is 2000 Ghana cedi to my Ghana bank account on the 4th, and today is the 6th yet the money still hasn’t arrived. The delay is unacceptable, and the customer service has been extremely poor. I don’t understand how this app is still allowed to operate when it’s failing to deliver the service customers are paying for. I really wish I had checked the reviews beforehand. Be careful if you’re planning to use this app the first payment may go through, but trust me you will end up losing money and they will tell you they don’t have any contact with the paying side.

This company has consistently been the…

This company has consistently been the worst money transfer service I’ve ever used.

Every time there’s an issue, they come up with a new excuse first it’s their IT system, then it’s their partner company in Ghana, then something else entirely. Use them 9 out of 10 times and you can be sure your money will be held for days.

As I write this, my current transfer has been pending for two days with no release in sight. There is nothing “instant” about their service.

Think twice before using them. You’ve been warned.

Senders should NOT use their services these days

Through Remit Home, £66.23, equivalent to 1,000GHS got lost for no reason. This means Remit Home can’t assure the sender the safety of transactions because third parties failure to transfer the money to the recipient/receiver is the sole risk of the sender. Remit Home has no control over the third parties (MTN, Vodafon, Airtel-tigo GHANA) for their failures

I am going to make people aware to stop using this app, this is the third time they've locked up my money with unnecessary issues and stories!! And to get your money back as refund they'll tell you it can take up to 5 to 7 working days!! Please take my advice and don't use this app!! beginning and somewhere along the line it was slow when it comes to the delivery but I realised they deliver as quickly after deduction of your funds but the delay was our Ghanaian counterpart who doesn't deliver as they claimed but after I complained about it, it's been soooo smooth and enjoyable infact Remit Home is my number one now since I discovered and confirmed from trustpilot I've stop using all the junk apps I highly recommend it's a mast use

Extremely Disappointing Service Dont Use Them

My transfer with Remit Home failed to arrive on time, and the whole process has been a complete headache. It’s taking far longer than promised, and every time I contact customer support, the staff seem clueless and unhelpful. They don’t know what they’re talking about and give different answers each time.

This service has been unreliable, slow, and frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend Remit Home to anyone who needs their money transferred on time.
