Block Bed - Kingsize
Delivered at 11am on a weekday. The delivery was smooth. They send an email the night before where you can specify your delivery point on What3words which I presume massively helps the delivery team.
Mainly, I want to talk about the bed itself. I am a man who likes to spend money wisely. The bed frame is 10/10 construction and manufacturing quality. No noise and it's absolutely solid. Easy to steam clean. The structural integrity and engineering of it is so reassuring I will be replacing all the beds in my house from the Reinforced Metal range. I expect it to easily outlive all my living relatives.
My biggest praise is that this masterpiece of engineering is sold at an affordable price. Huge kudos to Reinforced Beds. 10/10.

False advertised bed is unacceptable
False advertised bed is unacceptable. The bunk bed mattress advertised has tufted buttons and the one delivered and you told me is the mattress for the product code is cheap, nasty and packaging was damaged. Thank you for my refund, but I won't be recommending you to anyone else

Disgraceful company
We bought a Cromer bed frame less than 10 months ago and it’s fallen apart. Zero customer care from Katie who we dealt with. We sent photos of snapped metal on both sides of the frame where the headboard attaches. Every bolt had also rusted badly. As soon as they realised our son was severely autistic they queried how the bed had been used. We responded predominantly for sleep but mentioned that he occasionally rocked side to side to satisfy his sensory needs. As soon as they discovered this, they voided the guarantee. A true disgrace of a company. I’d urge any Autism families to steer well clear after the treatment we have received.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
Following our investigation, the information you provided confirmed that the bed was being subjected to stimming/rocking as part of your son's sensory needs. Whilst we completely understand that this is an important behaviour, the Cromer Bed is not designed or marketed for repeated lateral loading or challenging behaviours, and unfortunately this falls outside the intended use of the product and the terms of its guarantee.
Reinforced Beds offers a wide range of products for different applications. We also have a dedicated section of our website specifically for customers requiring beds suitable for challenging behaviours, where products have been selected for those more demanding environments. The Cromer Bed is not one of the models within that range.
Our decision was based solely on the nature of the use described by yourself and the product's intended application, not on your son's diagnosis. We appreciate this was not the outcome you were hoping for, but we must apply our warranty terms consistently to all customers.

Great company
Great company. Excellent quality bed. Fab customer service. I had a hole that had not completely been drilled through during production (these things happen) but they told me how to pop it out and if it didn’t work then they would send a replacement part straight away but it worked. Can’t fault the company. Very sturdy strong triple sleeper.

Great Price for a nice and sturdy bed
Great Price for a nice and sturdy bed. Seems well made and was quick at assembling together however one small problem was the headframe was very bent at the bottom and had to be hammerd to get back into position in order to assemble it, not a huge problem but probably could do with more packaging to avoid this.

Truly dreadful experience
Truly dreadful experience. If there was a lower rating than 1 star I would have given it. 3 failed attempts to deliver a simple bed. Each time, the courier kept saying they were not the right crew to do the assembly. Complete chaos, and to be fair to reinforced beds, their customer service was prompt but their delivery and assemble service is truly terrible and lets them down. They need to take ownership of the end to end process. I was able to get an alternative company to supply the bed, deliver and assemble and it was seamless. I’ll never be using reinforced beds again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and sincerely apologise for the frustration caused by the repeated failed delivery attempts.
While we're pleased that our customer service team was able to assist you promptly, we completely understand that this does not make up for the issues you encountered with the delivery and assembly service. We work closely with our third-party delivery partners, and your comments regarding taking greater ownership of the end-to-end process are noted.
We appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify where improvements are needed.
Only 2 boxes of 3 were delivered…
Only 2 boxes of 3 were delivered initially, 3rd box arrived after I complained. I don’t know if this was the fault of Reinforced Beds or the delivery company? The bed itself was quite finicky to put together especially attaching the feet to the headboard and footboard, if I hadn’t have had my own Allen keys I don’t think I would have managed it. The instructions themselves was one side of an A4 sheet and not very clear. The splicing of the wood is very obvious in most places. It concerns me that there is no mid support of the bed, I guess time will tell. The slats were very roughly finished and I managed to get a splinter at one point. I would not like to put one of these beds together again. The only reason I didn’t send this bed back was because of the hassle that would have caused when I was part way putting it together. Come back IKEA all is forgiven.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your detailed feedback. We're very sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations.
We sincerely apologise for the incomplete initial delivery and the inconvenience of having to wait for the final box to arrive. While our delivery partners handle the transportation, we understand that this reflects on us and appreciate how frustrating it must have been.
We're also sorry to hear that you found the assembly process difficult and that the instructions were unclear. Your comments regarding the fixings, wood finish, slats, and overall build experience have been noted.
Regarding the centre support, our beds are designed and tested to provide the required strength and support, but we understand your concerns and appreciate you highlighting them.
We value all customer feedback as it helps us improve both our products and services. If there is anything further we can do to assist, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team directly. Thank you again for sharing your experience.
Bed great, packaging not
Over all we are happy with our new bunk bed. Unfortunately though the bed came in boxes that had a black tar on them and we didn't notice this until we went to move the boxes. It was too late our brand new carpet only fitted the day before had tar stuff over it. And after tons of cleaning and scrapping, I now have a marks on the carpet. And its not where the bed goes so its on show . So the joy of getting this bed was let down but this incident. 😑
