Very professional no fuss work completed on time.Would advise anyone to refresh your kitchen rather than replace.

Very pleased with my new kitchen doors . Jamie and Johnny totally modernised my dated kitchen taking away old fashioned cornices also. Great advice on what to go for , lovely touch doors with no handles . Completed quickly and professionally.

Having just bought a house with a very tired kitchen I was looking to have it modernised without paying for a whole new kitchen. Jamie came and measured and priced the job for me under no pressure, the job went ahead on time and was completed in the timescale discussed. Very happy with the results would recommend.

We had a terrible experience with this company. Delay after delay, we had a date arranged for the project to start, Jamie had told me I needed to get a gas engineer in to disconnect gas and water before he started so I arranged that. Jamie never showed up (and gave two different excuses) In the end I managed to get a refund, however I was a couple of hundred pounds out of pocket due to getting the gas capped and then put back on again when they didn't show. I then went to a different company (established over 30 years) and they did a very good job in less time and for less money. I really feel like we dodged a bullet here.

In response to Jamie's reply to this review, I would like to add a timeline of what actually happened here.

After Jamie's visit we gave the go ahead on 20th May 2022, Jamie told us that the earliest he could arrange delivery was 14th July, I told him we were away at a festival that weekend and going on holiday right after that so he arranged to start the work on Monday 15th August, so we didn't delay on two separate occasions, we simply told Jamie that the delivery date clashed with us going away. So we only ever had one date arranged for the work to start and that was Monday 15th August, we never moved this date.

We were told that work would start on Monday 15th August and that we had to arrange for a gas fitter / plumber to disconnect the gas and water prior to this so that Jamie could start work on 15th. We did this and a tradesman came on 14th August and cut off gas and water. Next day Jamie never showed up, at this point we had spent the whole weekend emptying the kitchen, the contents of which were all over the house and had no gas or water. Jamie simply didn't turn up as scheduled, when I eventually managed to contact him he told me there was a delay to the order and that he was chasing it up, so why couldn't he have told me that BEFORE I had the gas and water cut off? He simply didn't show. Jamie told me the delay would be longer and I should get the gas and water reconnected which I had to do, total cost for this was £200. (I then got another separate excuse for the work not starting on time which was different to the first excuse, this time involving a funeral)

So original date that he didn't turn up for was 15th August, I then contacted again on 1st September asking for an update on when he could start the work and he eventually agreed on 19th September. This was FIVE weeks after the original date he didn't show up for. For those five weeks our house was in chaos. I told Jamie I wasn't happy, and to his credit he offered a refund. I originally paid a £2100 deposit on 17th June and this was returned to me on the 7th September. I wasn't offered a refund of the money I paid to the gas engineer on Jamie's instruction.

So to sum up, we never moved the dates and the delay that Jamie said was one week was actually five weeks.

We had such a bad experience that when Jamie offered a refund we gladly took it.

I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but I think that these sites are the only way we can make informed decisions on employing people we haven't had experience with. If someone else had had a similar experience to me I would have hoped they would have left a similar review and maybe I could have avoided the experience.

Jamie has left a message on my phone yesterday to say he doesn't think my review is fair, but I am simply stating the facts. I have blocked his number. We are £200 down through no fault of our own and had to live with the stress and chaos in the house for five weeks.

After blocking Jamie's number he has started to exhibit some worrying harassing behaviour. He has managed to find out the company I work for (which I never told him) and left bad google reviews for them, mentioning me by name. He has never had any dealings with my company (who incidentally have nothing to do with digital marketing despite his comments below). One of our directors has reported him for harassment. It looks like his son, who I never met, has also left a similar review with my company.

Since I blocked Jamie's number I have now received nine phone calls from a private number all through the night (first one today at 4:58 AM) google call screening identified the caller as Jamie.

I have now contacted Police Scotland to report this behaviour. This is all in response to me leaving an honest review.

So you might want to have a think about whether this is the sort of person you want to employ or even let into your house. If you don't leave a good review you may get 4am phone calls, he may track down your work place and try to get you into trouble there. This behaviour has made me incredibly angry and the police have been informed.

Jamie and his boy came in on Monday this week to do my kitchen to say it was some transformation was an understatement was night and day difference their attention to detail was spot on it truly is like a brand new kitchen the doors are really good quality if you are thinking about it I would highly recommend them much cheaper than replacing a full kitchen

I Have nothing but positive things to say about Refreshkitchen. From my first meeting for a qoute to end result, everything was done within time frame and I had work finished within a couple of days. The finish product was outstanding and Jamie and Johnny are very professional tradesman. I would not hesitate to use again. Our kitchen looks amazing thanks to this company

Absolutely thrilled with the results of the work undertaken and completed by Jamie and his son. My kitchen doors were tired and peeling and my plinth had become unattached so many times I’d given up putting it back on. I didn’t want to have a whole new kitchen fitted in my property. From first contact Jamie was friendly, professional and honest about what could be achieved, and how to keep my costs down including recommending some work I could undertake simply myself which would improve the overall look. I am blown away by the final result, which was completed quickly and with minimal disruption (simply moving items away from the hinges). The work took less than a day to complete and I’m very happy with both the price I paid and the quality of finish. Would definitely recommend and use again.

I’m delighted with the work done on our kitchen, new doors and matched cabinets have transformed it into a modern kitchen. From quote to completion, we were kept informed by Jamie, who together with Johnny delivered what now feels like a new kitchen!

Wow! I cannot thank Jamie and Jonny enough. They have just finished my kitchen today, replaced the doors and wrapped the worktop. I am over the moon with the job they have done. I've used a similar company in the past and they were twice the price yet this job is way superior. From the minute I spoke to Jamie I knew he was the guy for the job. His customer service skills are brilliant, replies quickly to any queries and all in all he is great at what he does! My kitchen looks brand new without the brand new cost. Jamie provided a great service - the kitchen looks brand new! Jamie is easy to reach, responds to calls quickly and took great pride in the work. There are plenty of options for doors, paint, surfaces and I would really recommend if you want to transform your kitchen.

Very happy with the service from Jamie and Jonny. New doors and worktop wrapping have freshened the kitchen up massively. The bulk of the work was completed in 2 days with minimal disruption and Jamie came back a few days after once he had received the correct handles from the supplier.
