I was doing the process of sending in a ring and necklace to sell. The ring had been resized and no longer contained the 14k mark. This they refused to ship it to them for free and devalued it considerably. I offered to prove live on camera with a gold test that the ring is 14k. I personally purchased this ring over 20 years ago. And I personally resized it. The ring has never left my possession.

I am offended that they will not allow me to prove the value of my item without having to pay for shipping and accept that they think my white gold ring is tarnished silver!

I had positive during my past two orders with reDollar so naturally when I needed to sell a coin I just went ahead submitted online order with redollar.com The process is easy and quick: you can see what their estimated prices are for various metals, then you fill out "Sell now" form online with your name/address and list of items you sell. Shortly after, you'll get the email with a form to sign and insured shipping label along with instructions how to pack the items.

This time, the shipping was slower (first two ordered it was next day), took 3 days for ground shipping).

Shipped the coin Monday, reDollar got the package Thursday, lab validated the coin, and payment was processed the same day. Price offered was fair and whole process is very fluid.

So, based on my recent experience with reDollar, I can definitely recommend this company/site and definitely going to use it myself in the future.

The journey to sell my gold jewelry started with the visit of 3 local coin/gold shops... offering me only 70-80% of the actual gold value. Not much better were the results from precious metal refineries... one did not accept private customers, the other never responded to my e-mail and the third did no call back after leaving multiple messages.

ReDollar has been amazing. I buy storage units, I find a lot of gold and silver jewlery. My local pawn shop says they pay 80, but realistically its more like 75, or lower. I have been cheated by said pawn shop by purity.

Just go online and request a shipping label and customer service will ask you a few questions, after that they send you an insured shipping label if the minimum threshold is met. Shipping is easy, the label and detailed instructions are provided. I was most impressed when I got the email that they received my items and they were tested and I was paid within 3 hours. My second shipment is on the way.

This is an amazing company. I have sent them several shipments of scrap gold and jewelry. They insure what you send them at no cost to you. They provide a report on your gold or precious metal content with their financial offer. I have found that they have paid me slightly more than their calculator might say, because my scale measures to tenths of grams, say 10.1 grams, but their scale is to the hundreds and the actual weight might be 10.17 grams.

I have simply been amazed at how quickly they respond to my questions, and payment, which can be made by ACH transfer. They are more than fair with their offers. I will continue to sell to them when I have more jewelry to sell.

If you are selling at spot price through eBay, once you have paid eBay fees, you make less than if you sold to reDollar. And no where near the hassle. You close the deal quickly and get paid in just a day after you accept their offer.
