False quotes - pay when job is complete
Got a few boards painted, never really did the boards fully as apparently there where carpenter ants there, cut branches off my tree and left them in the back of the yard. Never finished the bridge, Said he would come back later. He wanted me to pay for coming back. Refused his original quote as I paid too much for getting boards painted and branches cut.

Rapid Repair Services does not give out quotes; we only give estimates. And it was stated in my last email on August 3rd, 2025, which you never responded to.
When you initially contacted Rapid Repair Services via phone, you did ask for a quote, and we explained that we can give you an estimate, as things are subject to change. You were made aware of this on the first point of contact. You asked about only building a bridge and painting a small corner of the fence. You were given an estimate of time and the prices associated with us coming out to help. You agreed and proceeded to book an appointment.
Upon arriving at your property, this ''small corner of the fence'' you asked us to paint turned out to be approximately two fence panels, much larger than you described. As you never provided photos to us. You also never specified there were carpenter ants in your fence which do bite, and we will not be subjecting ourselves or any employee to get hurt on a job, so yes a part of the fence was not painted, we stated once the carpenter ants were taken care of by profesionals since we are NOT exterminators, we would happily come back and do the rest. You also asked for the bottom 2x6 of three sections of fence to be painted over, as they were a different color, which was never stated in your initial phone call.
You also asked our tech to cut down a medium/large branch from a tree, which was never specified during your phone call. By the time we finished those two things, your appointment was over, and we had to leave and go to the next appointment. We did specify we would have to come back to finish the bridge at another date, as we were booked full for the day.
You paid the invoice that day, booked another appointment, and we let you know we would take the tree branch after the next appointment. We were not prepared to haul a large tree branch as you NEVER informed us in the beginning, so it would have had to have been left behind again because we were only asked upon arrival for your appointment.
When the appointment reminder text came in, you texted and said the service was free, and then claimed you had already paid because of the above. Which in turn, no, it does ot work that way. We run a business, and our labor hours are not free. You added extra things that take time.
Thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on honesty, and you are not being honest here. I hope the best for you in the future.
