Hi there, I’m sorry you ran into issues during bidding.

The optional tip you saw is set by the fundraising organization and goes to support their campaign on RallyUp. It isn’t an admin fee and RallyUp does not block or limit bidding based on whether a tip is selected. Donors can always set the tip to $0 if they choose and ability to bid is never tied to whether they tip.

We’d like to look into what caused the auction freeze moment. If you’re willing, please share the name of the organization or the auction link (and roughly when this occurred) and we’ll investigate and follow up.
