I ordered a device the loop phone and the lady said the hotspot was uncapped when it's capped to 5GB ont top of that the sales lady who was assisting me sent two devices instead of one I guess to boost her sales and that's a scam and fraudulent. I regret the day I went to them for data . They need to sort this nonsense out because I'm not paying for something I Did not order.

The response time was lightning fast. I places an inquiry this evening (19,30pm) expecting a call sometime tomorrow and i got a response like 5 mins later.
The sign up process was fast and easy. I look forward to great results from using the services

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING – RAIN

R1,080 a month for a 1000 Mbps package, yet we are barely getting 10 Mbps when running speed tests.

Every time we contact Rain, we are told it’s supposedly a “tower issue” — somehow it’s never their problem. Meanwhile, we continue paying every month for a service we simply aren’t receiving.

This is not a small difference in speed. 10 Mbps when paying for 1000 Mbps is completely unacceptable.

CUSTOMER WARNING: Please think VERY carefully before signing up with Rain. If you rely on your internet for work, business, streaming or everyday life, do your research and consider other providers first.

What a disgrace and utter disappointment.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM RAIN. Save your money, your time and yourself the frustration of endless excuses.

1000 Mbps advertised. Barely 10 Mbps delivered. Absolutely unacceptable.

The consultant was friendly, patient and helpful, his service was excellent.

The consultant I spoke to yesterday advised I will get a pop up to select the time for delivery for yesterday I didn't get the pop up and a call back and I expected to receive my rain yesterday Im so disappointed with the service

Rain’s internet service is incredibly unreliable on the 101 Pro. One day speeds are okay, other days I have no or super slow internet. Mind I tell you I live in an area that has coverage. I’m paying almost R900 a month for this and I hoped it would at least be reliable since I work from home and having good internet is a non-negotiable for me. Bad internet means I don’t make any income, can’t attend client calls, and more. I will be cancelling my subscription at the end of this month. I wanted to give rain a chance but it’s failed me so many times. Rain, spend less time marketing and more time actually improving your product.

Friendly, fast and helpful service

Okay, I'm actually so disappointed. If you don't want a rant, read other reviews, but:

Bro, I have the highest tier — a Rain One 101 — and I'm close to a tower, yet I still get a rubbish connection. Like, I get it, we don't have the outdoor unit, but STILL? Rain, I think you guys should just stop this, man.

And please don't hit me with your "thanks for your review, please DM us with your situation 🤓👆" — no. HELL NO. I want a CLEAR explanation as to why you guys do this.

Oh, and don't get me started on the SIM card you give for free with a product. Buddy, why is there ONE DAMN BAR when I'm RIGHT at the tower? Explain. Why? Is it locked down to your little towers only?

And this brings us to the phone. Bro, what do you mean only a Rain SIM works? This is giving locked-down ecosystem vibes — I'm already paying around R659.99, and now I have to walk around my house hunting for signal on a Rain SIM? The only reason everyone keeps asking for replacements is because you keep "fixing" the problem by just sending us new devices. HELLO? JUST LET THE DEVICE CONNECT TO ANY NEARBY TOWER. There's a tower right there, then the next second I wait 20 whole minutes just to be told "oh yeah, it connected to a tower in the middle of nowhere, we'll send a new device and charge you for nothing 🤓"

So what I'm saying is: stop wasting time on the replacement loop and the locked phone, and just make a simple device that connects to the nearest tower. See? How simple. But I guess not simple enough for a company worth R25.91 billion.

Bad customer service and for R679 just know that if it rains or just windy you’re unable to get connection,bad choice wouldn’t recommend this RAIN WIFI!

I wouldn't recommend the Loop phone plan , the sales team do not tell you that the data is only limited to the phone and caps on hotspot , we got it with the thinking after a call with their rep that we wanted to use it as a mobile hotspot between work and home , that was specifically omitted. Very poor customer service and very inconveniencing.

It was a good welcome from the agent who made the call she was very vocal and very clear with her explanation,it was a nice way and easy to explain thanks 😊
