Qwoted has been very useful to promote my interview coaching business. I've only used the free subscription, yet my interview advice has been featured in Forbes and Fox Business twice, as well as in CIO Magazine, BuiltIn, Business Insider and many others as a result of my membership.

As a small business owner trying to establish myself as an expert in my industry, it's been a very successful tool. It's relatively easy to gather backlinks.

The software is easy to use and I love that you can see if your quote has been accepted or not and you don't have to die wondering!

My only constructive criticism is that I'd like to be able to link different submissions to different pages on my website, not just my homepage.

Effective with good range across the many departments as a business you can comment on.

Great concept but doesn't quite hit the mark so we cancelled our subscription today.

The unnecessary barrier between journalist and agency / brand makes life difficult.

If your account is flagged (which happens regularly), you have to book in a call with the Founder and be scolded in order to get reactivated. Quite a faff and very uncomfortable.

During the last call, we were told we were a small customer and they wouldn't care about losing us.

There is also a public grading of your agency - which feels draconian. It's interesting that the top 100 are all from the same agencies (and some claim just a 3% win rate).

Subscriptions for agencies are $700/month (which is at the higher end of other PR software out there).

There are better and cheaper alternatives.

UPDATE: 5 days after I left this review, there was flurry of positive reviews. Curious, I noticed that Qwoted posted the following on their website:

Makes it really easy for agencies to do some light-weight PR for their clients!

Do not allow me to sign up using gmail account. Really do not understand the business decision behind this!

Not a trustworthy employer

They banned my account for no reason. They treat the journalists as lords and reporters are nothing to them. I have spent at least 80 hours in their system. And then they banned me for no reason. Frustration, confusion and a sense of injustice - that's all I got.

Great site for pr professionals to get their spokespeople quoted. Everything is easy to use and has functions to know if your pitch was read and how many pitches the reporter received, etc.

Great experience, no spam. High-quality service and verified sources, access to true experts. All five stars well-deserved!
