I’ve had a savings and checking account with Quontic for several years, and after shopping around with a few lenders, I decided to get my mortgage through them. Of the three lenders I considered, Quontic offered the best rate — unfortunately, that rate was the only positive part of the experience.

Working with Cory Graciano and the Quontic mortgage team was frustrating from start to finish. Closing was chaotic, with new, required reports being dropped on me less than a day before the scheduled closing. They asked me to pay for an appraisal, then later decided it wasn’t necessary — and only refunded a portion of the cost.

I would strongly recommend avoiding Quontic if you're shopping for a mortgage. If you do go with them, make sure to clear your schedule the day before closing — you’ll likely be jumping through last-minute hoops.

Technically all my errors, but service is non-existent. Forgot there would be a hold on initial new account and deposits, which were significant. Needed to wire money out and, for a week, was provided documents to complete, which I did wrong, re-submitted again and, then, four days later they tell me they're not going to wire the funds because of the account hold. It took over an hour each time I tried to connect with someone in service regarding he wire, their "chat" function goes from live to AI in flash of an eye; no one mentioned it couldn't be sent due to the hold. After all of that, they determined they were closing the account with the only practical option being having a cashiers check sent at their leisure; would not even commit to processing today, the day of closure, or when they would drop check in the mail, all while they continue to accrue interest on my spouse's funds, which she's also losing.

I opened the money market account in February 2025 when Quontic offered an APY of 4.75%. In late February the APY was dropped to 4.50%. In March 2025, the APY dropped to 4.25%. As of today 4/14/25, other banks that offered 4.75% in February now offer 4.50%. Therefore, I am disappointed that Quontic is no longer offering competitive interest rates on the money market account.

Quontic took 3 weeks over the time they said they needed to close, almost losing the house with the seller. The original loan officer went on vacation with no notice, then the loan officer's manager took over the case and was a disrespectful and highly unprofessional individual. Her supervisor never returned any of my emails or calls to talk to me what is going on and why this was such a mess. We ended up paying over $25,000 more than we were estimated for closing cost and interest.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BANK! Of all the countless banks and credit unions I've dealt with over the years, this bank was INCREDIBLE. SO EASY TO DEAL WITH! When my CD matured at Quontic Bank, Quontic did an ACH transfer (NO WIRING FEE!) within a DAY of receiving my emailed instructions. And all Quontic required was the other bank's name, routing #, account #, type of account and a copy of my driver's license. That's it! I have struggled with every other bank and credit union in trying to transfer CD funds and it has taken me 3-4 WEEKS every time, with detailed forms and applications required from the sending bank. Really a mess and really difficult! Plus, the instructions from the sending banks were inevitably wrong and had to be resubmitted several times. A TOTAL PAIN, and I would lose the higher interest rate I was attempting to secure because the wait was so long! Really frustrating. Quontic Bank will be my definite choice for future banking. It's AMAZING!!!

I’ve had a great experience thus far with Quontic Bank! Opening and funding my Money Market account was fairly easy. It was also easy to set up transfers from my other banks. The process to order checks took time to find and was a slow process. However, the first order being free was great since I don’t plan to use many checks from this account. My only critique is the transparency about the rate movement on the account. The stated APY and rate don’t seem to match but I could be wrong. Either way it’s not clear. Also, it’s not clear when the interest is credited to the account. Otherwise, it has been a painless experience opening and maintaining this account.

UPDATE 3/23/2025: A few days after posting the review, Quontic did connect, solved my problem, and provided detailed instructions. My only remaining complaint is that there is a $2000 daily and $10000 monthly cap for ACH inbound transfers. I wanted to bring in more than this, so I initiated a wire from my local bank (but they charge $25 to wire money). Instead, my bank suggested using cashier's check. I learned from Quontic that they do not accept deposits by mail. Drats! I did end up paying $25 to wire, and that worked smoothly.

My recent experience was unsatisfying. I want to know how to fund my Quontic MMA account by initiating a wire transfer @ Quontic. That is how I funded my initial deposit when opening my account but can't use that method going forward. I messaged customer service about this but got no response.

Quontic team have knowledge and professionalism to guide me smoothly for my mortgage loan. Very happy with the outcome. They work very hard for customers and cares to get things done on time.

So far, opening a Money Market account with Quontic has been an excellent decision. I’m only a month into having opened the account. You are limited to an initial deposit of $1000 and you have to wait a month (I believe?) before you are able to transfer funds from outside banks to your MM account through the Quontic app. However, you can still send funds to your MM account at Quontic through your other banking institution’s transfer systems. And you can’t beat the highly competitive rate of return at Quontic!

Quontic Bank exceeded our expectations. The team was patient, proactive, and professional. We could not be happier with how things went and will only use Quontic Bank in the future.

We have never experienced such a smooth transaction when applying for a mortgage, and we are now in our new home.
