specific needs, especially when it comes to organising the funeral...
This should be the central focus as very little emphasis is given to
this aspect....

I paid for draft consent orders and application for consent orders. Tried to lodge what Quick Laws provided and the court would not accept the application because the form is 12 months out of date. Instead of updating their forms they wanted me to point out the differences. Maybe the fact that they can't spot the difference is why they are working in this type of position. No interest in correcting their mistake for future customers. Look elsewhere.

Update: Received a phone call and six emails in the space of 30 minutes this morning demanding I remove this review, threatening to sue me for defamation, accused me of submitting the application they provided and just trying to get a refund and generally insisting with absolute certainty that there was no difference in the application they provided me and the one available on the Family Courts website.

From a quick (less than 10 minutes) skim through both documents I was able to identify two instances that the legislation differed between the documents. I provided this information to Quick Laws and surprisingly there has been no response.

In less then half the time Quick Laws spent harassing me, they could of identified and corrected the errors in the application they provide.

The process, using quicklaws online forms, made the probate application easy.
Whilst the entire application for probate is daunting, it was made far simpler using quicklaws.

Apparently, your link to the probate guide will expire within 12 months (or maybe before that as the owner doesn't seem to know either).
An email reminder that the link will expire would have been helpful given it can take some time to complete the process (it is obviously difficult when you have suddenly lost a parent).
Since they have refused to provide the probate guide that I purchased, I have asked for general information that would be available in the probate guide (regarding where there is a change of address) that I can no longer access and was told they will not provide the information. Poor customer service.
Have been asked to provide more information as it has been incorrectly flagged by quicklaws. I purchased the kit on 26 of March 2018 and completed the probate template. I needed to consult the guide last week due to a change of address.
The customer service was poor and only willing to assist once I posted a review. Instead of immediately refusing to provide the updated guide, they clearly could have used their discretion to provide it. Alternatively, they could have provided the general information I asked for which the supreme court were able to provide.

NOTE. The supreme court were able to provide the general information I was after (so a refusal based on being legal advice was incorrect).

I read the good reviews for this company which led me to check out their DIY Will kits with the intent to purchase. However, a simple question asking for a clarification on a point in their bullet point led to response along the lines of ‘cannot provide legal advice’, even when legal advice was not sought. When emailed to provide this feedback about the online correspondence, I received a similar email from the owner, who told me to take my business elsewhere & she was not interested in feedback. I tried to explain that I was not seeking legal advice but rather asking a general question on whether ‘de facto’ included same sex couples. A ‘yes’ or ‘no’ would have sufficed as I would assume one would be familiar with their own products and who can use it. I expected simple info on their product & how it works in general. Instead I was met with rude and defensive responses. They fixated on “we do not provide legal advice” & was unable to move from this despite no legal advice was ever asked. They seemed to go straight to ‘angry’ when I asked if de facto was applicable for same sex couples. Not your usual customer service experience.

Quicklaws were great, spoke with them online before going ahead, very helpful, friendly and courteously. Very easy to use and gave us exactly what was wanted.

I was really impressed with how easy it was to follow your guidance and prepare the documentation required for applying for a grant of probate in South Australia.

However I would like to advise one important procedure which you have missed in your information.

You need to inform applicants that they need to print the documentation on A4 Bond Paper and each page needs to be numbered.

I had to go to the South Australian Probate Rules under Documents to find to correct procedure.

I hope this will help other individuals when processing their application for a Grant of Probate in South Australia
