You may have been working as a teacher, a pharmacist or a social worker. You may be at university currently or have just started tutoring to pay off your student loan. Or you may be a volunteer tutor, looking to give something back. Whatever your background is, if you are tutoring, you have a place with us. Qualified Tutor exists to ensure that every tutor worldwide is safe, skilled and supported. We are committed to providing everything you need to do you best work for every one of your students. We believe that by raising you up, we enable you to raise your students up and make a real difference in each of their lives. You can get involved with Qualified Tutor through our commmunity, events and training. You can also become QT Certified. Our QT Certification programme is a robust quality assurance process that enables independent tutors of every specialism and background to evidence their excellence.

I really appreciate the work Qualified Tutor are putting into raising standards within the tutoring community and the training and support they put in place for tutors. The great thing is, you can dip in and out to join in with what is relevant or helpful to you whilst being part of a great community of tutors. As a parent of 4 children
As a parent of 4 children, I have spent upto £1000 a month on tutors to supplement my children's education.
All of the tutors I use/used came recommended, some were more successful than others but it never occurred to me to ask 'are you qualified?'. Many of the tutors were teachers but then I met Julia who asked me if I had checked they were right for my child.
Wow, I was spending £1000 a month and I had not checked just taken on spending this amount of money by recommendation.
Now I ask the tutors to share their Qualified Tutor Digital Wallet so I can check their credentials and now with the new skills tests I am ready to verify them myself.
