Puzzle Locker - Escape Rooms for Schools Arvostelua

The day was carefully and thoughtfully planned out to ensure children were able to engage with the AR escape room. The pre-session information was useful to share and meant they could make the most of it.

The quality of the escape room levels was beyond my expectations and the children are still talking about it with joy a week later. Educationally, they have made connections from the session to the subsequent lessons which is ideal!

Wholeheartedly recommend!

If I could give this experience more than 5 stars then I would! My class (Year 3) were engaged, enthused and curious throughout the whole activity. The duration of Puzzle Locker is pitched perfectly and it incorporates amazing qualities such as; team work, independence and attentiveness. Stewart made everything so clear to follow and created an enjoyable experience for every child. Thank you for such a brilliant time!

Puzzle Locker delivered an exceptional augmented reality history experience that was, from start to finish, seamlessly organised and engaging for the children.
From the initial query to the final confirmation, the communication was prompt, clear, and hassle-free.
The preparatory materials provided beforehand were brilliant. They set the context perfectly, allowing the children to build foundational knowledge so they could dive straight into the experience on the day.
The main session was brilliantly facilitated and perfectly paced. The augmented reality elements brought history to life and the children were thoroughly immersed, enthusiastic, and asking thoughtful questions throughout.
Rather than the learning ending when the session finished, the post-visit extension tasks allowed us to consolidate key concepts back in the classroom and keep the momentum going.
Puzzle Locker provided an educational experience that left both staff and pupils thoroughly impressed. Highly recommended to any primary school looking to elevate their history curriculum!

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The children were completely engaged throughout and loved the immersive escape room format. It was the perfect balance of fun, teamwork and learning, with activities that really encouraged communication, problem-solving and critical thinking.

My child’s really enjoyed Puzzle Locker. The puzzles were engaging, age-appropriate, and a good mix of fun and problem-solving. It felt like a great way to get children thinking creatively while wrking through challenges independently. I’d happily recommend it for primary school-aged children.

The experience was really well thought-out and set up for children to have an enjoyable learning experience. There was full engagement throughout and agreement amongst the pupils that they had gained a lot through participating.

Fantastic experience for all the children, whatever their ability. The activity was really well organised and the children loved taking part in it. Every child had a role to play and was engaged from start to finish.

The Puzzle Locker workshop was amazing. All the pupils were engaged for the whole session with a very well organised and inspiring problem solving virtual game. You could see the pupils gasp as they walked forwards towards the virtual escape room. The pupils worked in teams (rotating their roles) and also improved their knowledge about space through an interactive challenging game. A great experience for pupils of all abilities. I would strongly recommend this workshop for schools to enhance their curriculum as another exciting learning opportunity.

The experience was extremely well run, from the pre teaching session to help the children get ready for the session, to the session itself and the follow-up activities that were provided. The session itself was fantastic, fully engaging all children and encouraging them to show some amazing team working skills. The content within the puzzles was also nice and targeted, accessible and memorable. All in all a great experience and we will be using the company in the future.

This experience was wonderful! The children were fully engaged and learnt along the way. It was really accessible but also stretched and challenged. The set up was great for team work with a lovely competitive edge. We will definitely be booking again for next year!

Puzzle locker came to our primary school and the children loved it. Really engaging for them and a brilliant experience. Thank you so much!

We had four fantastic workshops delivered by Stuart - Egyptians, Romans, Ancient Greeks and World War 2. All the children from Year 3 to 6 were thoroughly engaged and could have quite happily carry on once their session ended. All the sessions enhanced or built on the history covered. I would thoroughly recommend Puzzle Locker as an interactive way for children to learn history!

Really engaging, ran perfectly and the children learnt using communication and team skills which was great to see. Really different way of learning. Highly recommend.

Puzzle Locker delivered a fantastic workshop at our school and it had the children completely engaged from start to finish. Puzzle Locker specialise in interactive problem-solving challenges, combining teamwork, logical thinking and creativity in a fun, immersive way. The activities were perfectly pitched for the children and encouraged them to communicate, persevere and think critically. We used Puzzle Locker to launch our topic on the Romans. This got the children excited about their new learning and they also learnt a lot about the Romans during the workshop.
The workshop was very organised and we really enjoyed receiving all the information and instructions beforehand this made the day run smoothly. The pupils have been talking about the workshop ever since, which is a real testament to how memorable and enjoyable the experience was. We would highly recommend Puzzle Locker to any school looking for an exciting and meaningful enrichment experience.

Stuart came into our school to lead some workshops in a range of year groups. I was really impressed with the communication we received beforehand. There were detailed PowerPoints to introduce the session to the children, with the video character making the presentation very engaging. Resources were easily organised so that I could prepare what was needed. On the day itself, the workshop had a clear structure with everything set up in a way that the children could easily follow. I love that each child was given a specific role to follow and that these alternated. The gasps from the children when they entered the portal was wonderful. They really enjoyed walking around the Roman world and completing the challenges.

Puzzle Locker visited our primary school yesterday and delivered an excellent virtual experience based on the Roman Empire for our KS2 children. The session was highly engaging, with pupils working collaboratively to find artefacts, follow clues and solve puzzles. Snippets of historical facts were cleverly woven throughout the experience, significantly enhancing the children’s understanding of Roman life and history.

The level of engagement was outstanding – pupils were enthusiastic from start to finish, with many commenting on how much fun it was and saying they wanted to play it again at home. It was a brilliant way to bring history to life and complement our curriculum.

Puzzle Locker offer a range of topics, and we will definitely be looking to book them again in the future. Highly recommended for schools looking for an interactive and memorable learning experience.

I got to see Puzzle Locker in action today and the kids LOVED it. The children were all engaged throughout, worked well together and clearly enjoyed the challenges they had to work through. Great feedback from all the children and their teachers who would definitely love to do this again in future.

We had a fantastic experience with the Puzzle Locker workshop, which was based on our topic of Ancient Greece! The children were completely engaged from start to finish and loved every moment of the activities. The puzzles were creative, age-appropriate, and encouraged them to think critically while learning fascinating historical facts through the use of technology.

What stood out the most was how well the workshop promoted teamwork - seeing the children collaborate, communicate, and celebrate their successes together was wonderful. They came away excited, proud, and eager to learn more.

I would highly recommend Puzzle Locker to anyone looking for an educational and truly enjoyable workshop. It was an unforgettable experience and would certainly recommend. Finally, a huge thank you to Stuart for delivering such a great session.

Stuart visited our school to work with Y6 on the 'Greek Game'. It was a great experience. The pupils were fully engaged and great to observe them working as small teams.
Some of the feedback from the pupils:
"It was a fun experience that allowed us to all have go on it, which was really good. It was really educational and I learnt a lot."
"I loved it as I learnt lots about Greece linked to our Discovery topic and I think all ages would enjoy it."
"It was really good searching for artefacts and things to solve different puzzles. The different levels of bronze, silver and gold plus finding clue words made it even better."
"It was brilliant to be able to explore Ancient Greece with a 360 view and after finding an artefact it gave an interesting fact."
I loved working in a team to solve the puzzles and we all got a go at the different roles of collector, explorer and guide. This made it really engaging and interactive."

Stuart visited Year 6 today, and wow we were thrilled with our experience! We took part in the Ancient Greek AR game to end our topic on Ancient Greece. The children were excited and fully engaged in the activity, working collaboratively to find objects/artefacts and solve the puzzles. The bonus rounds were a great extension for early finishers. The game itself allowed the children to become submerged into 360 environment; the children could easily navigate their surroundings and loved the hints and clues. The three separate questions/stages and the levels within these meant they children were both challenged and learnt a lot too. It was wonderful to see how the children of all abilities and level of need were included and could all access, taking on various roles to supper each other. Stuart was amazing before and throughout the experience. We can’t wait to have you back! Puzzle locker embraces history but with the modern day twist!
