Bad experience with Lost and Found

I stayed at the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel recently and, unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with the lost and found service. I forgot a brand new pair of sunglasses in my room 1036 and, as soon as I realized, I contacted the hotel. However, they informed me that "nothing was found", which I find extremely strange, considering that I left a short time ago and informed the exact location where the item was.
I've already tried to solve it directly with the hotel, but I didn't get any solution. How can a hotel of this level not have an efficient and transparent process to ensure that items forgotten by guests are returned? This raises questions about the reliability and integrity of the team.
I am very disappointed and I hope that the administration will take steps to review this process. Otherwise, I will advise friends and acquaintances against staying here. I look forward to hearing from the hotel on this subject.
