I used Prostobox / Pochtoy as a package forwarding service from the US and faced a very problematic practice. When I tried to return my item to the seller via a standard eBay return, the company started adding new conditions and requirements that effectively blocked the return.

The eBay seller issued an official return and provided a return label – this is a normal process, the buyer simply ships the item using the label generated by eBay/seller. Prostobox, however, claimed that under their “security policy” they could not ship the parcel to the address on that label without extra “verification”, even though such conditions were never mentioned at the beginning. As a result, the parcels stay in their warehouse and it becomes impossible to exercise the right to a normal eBay return.

In my opinion this creates a serious risk for other customers: Prostobox / Pochtoy can accept your goods and later hide behind internal rules to block returns or forwarding, especially when eBay return labels or similar tools are involved.

If you have experienced similar behavior from Prostobox / Pochtoy (holding your parcels, refusing to use official return labels, adding new conditions after the fact), I strongly recommend not to stop at leaving a review. Please also file formal complaints with:

The more consumers document these issues through BBB and the FTC, the higher the chances that regulators will investigate the company. You can use a short version of this review as a summary and provide full details and screenshots in your complaints.

Your funds deposit may not reach them. They destroy your parcel without proper notification by email. Then it's impossible to recover compensation from insurance that they pretend is covering your parcels. Otherwise very nice company.

They will request endless information from you that must be sent through their website messaging system. After you send photos, they will change their instructions and then request video. When you are totally confused they will not give you an email address or contact phone number for questions. You will never satisfy their endless demands, it’s not possible. If you are a westerner trying to send unsanctioned goods to Russia, forget this company. I spent almost two weeks going back and forth with these women verifying my information. They refused to send my goods and in the end I just left my Amazon clothing and shoes in their in warehouse in Delaware. I tried to send the goods back to Amazon and they wanted $50 for each return. When I tried to pay on their website with my US credit card (which is why I came to them in the first place) they only take Russian bank cards and crypto. Even if you are Russian there is no point in using this company unless you want Coca Cola, cheap vitamins and GMO peanut butter. Why? I normally don’t write reviews but this experience was so strange to me. It was like being harassed by an ex-wife and her team of divorce attorneys for the house and cars. A real nightmare. All they had to was ship a couple of pair of jeans and sneakers but instead dragged it into a two week interrogation. Seriously, find another way this one is totally dysfunctional.

Заказывал кроссовки с Ebay два раза с разницей в неделю, без байеров, оплачивал сам своими методами. Кратко: Отличный сервис, 5 звезд из 5.
1) Срок доставки: Первый заказ пришел за 14 дней, а второй за 10 дней (с момента добавления трек-номера на сайте в ожидаемые и до момента получения в РФ). Как по мне это впечатляюще быстро, даже быстрее чем заказывать из Китая.
2) Стоимость доставки: Упакованные кроссовки в первом случае весили 900 гр., а во втором 800 гр., но оба раза стоимость доставки вышла: $13.99 (доставка) + $3.00 (не отключаемая страховка) + надбавка за конвертацию в доллары. При оплате рублями через систему быстрых платежей или картой банка РФ (а именно так вы скорее всего будете платить) конвертация в доллары происходит по курсу сервиса, который на 10-20 рублей выше реального курса доллара к рублю. Итого, за первую доставку я заплатил 1 849,81 руб. и за вторую 1 767,96 руб. т.к. рубль за время между заказами немного подрос по отношению к доллару. В принципе, это довольно хорошая цена за доставку из такой далекой страны.
3) Опыт использования сайта: На сайте есть несколько устаревших статей, а так же не хватает ответов на вопросы, которые возникли лично у меня при использовании сервиса. Служба поддержки отвечает примерно через 24 часа после создания тикета, что довольно долго. В остальном сайт довольно удобный и понятный и со своей основной функцией справляется.
4) Ответ, полученный практическим путем на мой личный вопрос, который возник до и во время использования сервиса (думаю, что вам он тоже пригодится): "Склад не работает в субботу и воскресенье, а также в будни работает до 17.00 вечера, что будет с посылкой если её привезут не во время?". В моем случае 2 раза службой доставки была почта USPS. В первый раз посылку привезли в рабочее время и всё было окей, во второй раз посылку привезли в субботу, но склад был естественно закрыт. В итоге посылку не оставили под дверьми или под воротами (что я видел в некоторых отзывах), а сделали пометку на странице трекинга USPS о том, что посылку привезут заново в рабочий день, и привезли. Кстати, почта USPS это стандартная служба доставки при покупках на Ebay.
5) Важная заметка: После того, как товар по данным курьерской службы или почты был доставлен на склад, на сайте сервиса он не сразу отобразится как доставленный. Первый раз у меня прошло полтора дня (я уже начал волноваться), а второй раз около 10 часов.

I had a truly awful experience with this transport company. They delayed my delivery for an unbelievable 4 months and refused to provide any compensation for the inconvenience. On top of that, they charged my account for made-up services without prior notice.

The pricing for additional services isn’t listed anywhere on their website, so you’re always in for a nasty surprise when the final bill comes. Transparency clearly isn’t their strong suit.

Customer support is no better—they are utterly useless. Any inquiries take a minimum of 14 days to process, and even then, you’re unlikely to get any real resolution.

I strongly advise against using this company. Save yourself the frustration and go with a more reliable service!

I have been ordering things through prostobox for three years now and I am very satisfied! normal rate, fast enough delivery and adequate support service.

The items worth $2000 were held without reason. I made a mistake in the tracking number that I entered, later I entered the correct tracking number and the next day they banned my account and later disposed of the items worth $2000+ They asked for a bunch of evidence that I sent and they did not let me send the items back.

I ordered back in March, in America the parcel took twice as long to arrive as from there to Russia. Delivered ahead of schedule, redemption is free, redeemed promptly from the store adidas, h&m and amazon. All satisfied, nowhere cheated. Here I plan to order again, if you know where to buy - the service is irreplaceable. Replenished of course through crypto

1) Прошу вернуть товар для распаковки из-за ограничения ввоза в 200€.
2) Прошу его отправить на мой адрес в США.
По первому вопросу ответ:- у нас нет услуги вернуть назад в корзину собранный мною заказ для деления на мелкие посылки.
По второму вопросу у них нет услуги отправки по США.
Реально бред для слабоумных.
USPS / UPS прекрасно справятся со всеми хлопотами забрать и отправить за мои деньги куда угодно.
Незаконно удаляют тару продавца с номером трека.
Нет возможности отправить feedback, с верификацией товаров.
Менеджеры это удалённый офис не в США. Они не работают по времени США -8 часов от Москвы.
Проверял ,писал им в рабочее время днём по США. Без ответа.
Заявлено у них 24 х 7.
Скорее это суповой набор из удалённого города.
Они не знают наших законов.
Не читали никогда Биль о правах в США.
Если не решат данную проблему, подаю в суд, за незаконные действия с частной собственностью.
P. S. Всегда требуйте соблюдение ваших прав, вы платите им деньги. Требуйте сервис услуг который подходит вам лично, безусловно в рамках закона.
Эти компании не имеют лицензии на вскрытие посылок, ни при каких обстоятельствах. Товары на склад приходят не с чёрного Колумбийского рынка. Вы их покупаете сами или через брокера в магазине с инвойсом и банковским чеком.
Все торговые площадки в США имеют лицензию на данный вид торговли и услуг. Нарушение магазином торговать без лицензии, это большой штраф и марка судебного процесса.
Поэтому все товары поступают на законных основаниях.

Ужасное отношение к клиенту,обман на каждом этапе- на сайте одни цены за доставку по итогу выходит в разы больше,дальше ещё интереснее они не отправляют со склада как обещанно во вторник/четверг,я вынуждена ждать неделю пока мой товар отправят,хотя в моем приложении указано несколько дней что товар готов к отправке!общение с поддержкой -это отдельный вид мучения,ответы в основном из серии "а что вы хотели" как выше описали ты становишься заложником ситуации как только твой товар попал к ним на склад!
Я надеюсь,что всё-таки мою посылку отправят в ближайшее время!!!

заблокировали личный кабинет и не отдают посылки!!! просят не существующие скриншоты ! магазин отправил посылку с помощью федекс на лейбле указано два трека федекс и юспс ! сервис упирается и просит чтобы я предоставил им скриншот с почты где указан трек юспс! НО ЕГО НЕ СУЩЕСТВУЕТ !! я потерял деньги и время !! не советую использовать данный сервис

Purchased a Steam Deck Oled.
On the plus side. Delivered very quickly (It took less than 2 weeks from the time it arrived at the warehouse to me) and pretty cheap. Support responds within a couple hours. The box is not wrinkled.

On the downside. Mandatory insurance. There are minor problems on the site. High commission for currency conversion, but is not offset by the low price.

My experience with this company was wonderful. When my package was supposed to be delivered in Order pick-up point and there appeard a problem with that company, prostobox solved all problems by itself and didn’t charged me extra. I have ordered many times in this servic: always good.
