PMA charged me for 4 years of subscription without my consent or knowledge, and they refuse to cancel the account or provide any refund. They sent no auto renewal notices and have provided no way for me to manage or cancel auto renewal. Do not give PMA your card info.

The Product Marketing Alliance Core Class was an incredible learning experience. I gained a deep understanding of the foundational principles of product marketing, and the content was not only highly informative but also practical and easy to digest. The resources and frameworks provided were outstanding—clear, actionable, and directly applicable to real-world scenarios. I feel more confident in my skills and am excited to apply what I’ve learned to grow in my career. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to level up in product marketing!

I recently completed a course by PMA, and I have to say, I am very disappointed. The training was extremely dull... the presenter was just reading off a screen in a monotone voice and looked a bit stunned. This made it hard to even complete the course. For example the presenter would read out 'i.e.'.

The slides weren't much better. A lot of them didn’t have clear headings and were just filled with long, rambling bullet points, so it was tough to pick out the main points.

I'd only recommend the course if you want a certificate for job pivoting - but be prepared to be bored stiff. I've found free courses from organisations like SEMRush, even though they cover more general digital marketing, a lot more engaging.

The price of the course is steep for what you get (if you can actually finish the training). The document templates are the only good thing about the course.

I am extremely disappointed with the way PMA has handled my subscription. They charged my credit card for another year of a program I never used without giving me a fair chance to cancel. I signed up initially but quickly realized I didn’t need it and didn’t proceed with the program. Despite this, they went ahead and charged me again without my consent or even a proper warning.

They claim to have sent email reminders, but this is blatantly false - there were no reminders sent. What makes this worse is that their system clearly shows I barely engaged with the program in the first year, yet they still proceeded to renew without allowing me to opt-out. This feels like an exploitative practice, taking money without accountability or consideration for the customer’s experience.

When I contacted them to explain and request a refund, they refused to credit back the charge. This refusal shows a complete disregard for customer fairness and trust. Why would you charge someone for a service they clearly didn’t use and have no intention of continuing?

This situation has left me feeling deceived and unheard. If this isn’t resolved immediately, I will be escalating this to consumer protection authorities.

PMA has a large swathe of content and courses that cover every aspect of the product marketing role. The nature of Product Marketing is such that there is a huge breadth in required knowledge and skills so it's impressive that they've covered all major aspects to a depth. The courses themselves are great to follow and a very easy to follow through.

The course materials are well structured and concise. More importantly, I found the comment section to be a really good resource as other peers in the program ask very practical, scenario based questions which I learned a great deal from. The bonus videos were very informative as well and could hardly be considered as "extra".

I found the PMA Core class provided a fantastic base of knowledge around product marketing principles. I've been working to implement them in my day job and look forward to exploring more advanced courses in the future.

The content is very engaging, simple to understand and applicable, which has made it easy to learn and take actions from to improve the positioning, messaging and storytelling.

Great courses with a bunch of resources to download

I tried to cancel my membership in advance of my renewal date by contacting support because there were no visible options to cancel under my Account menu. I contacted support multiple times, without any response, until AFTER my renewal date and they charged me for another year of membership. I have reached out 3x more times on support (via email and chat) only to have them state "no refunds after renewal" (which I tried to prevent), and where they tell me how to cancel via "My Account" menu, there is no button! And they even say "if there is no button, contact support". Which I am doing!!!! I am caught in a loop from hell where they clearly don't read your messages, and have super shady business practices by hiding your cancellation options. BEWARE!!!!!!!

Course was really great at providing the fundamentals of product marketing. I have already started implementing the lessons in my day to day.

I majored in Communication Sciences and gained considerable work experience during my studies, eventually becoming a Product Marketing Manager (PMM). When I first joined the team, I had limited theoretical knowledge of marketing, which made it challenging to grasp certain concepts. I essentially learned the theory by diving straight into practice. Looking back, having access to these invaluable lessons two years ago would have made the transition smoother and accelerated my learning in this amazing role.

That said, even watching the lessons now has been incredibly helpful. They reinforced my understanding and provided a much clearer picture of the PMM role. I've already started applying some of the insights I gained here. Huge thanks to the PMA team!
