Dean was amazing!!! He was very knowledgeable of all the places we went to. He had a great understanding of the city and got us to where we needed to go in a timely fashion. He was also very bending of our schedule. The first day we fell asleep and he waited for us the whole time. I felt awful about that. I can’t say enough great things about our trip to London and Deans guidance. Thanks for everything.

My expert historian and driver, Peter was extraordinarily knowledgeable as well as commendably kind and patient. I am beyond delighted with his service. I'm very nerdy and keenly interested in UK history. I tossed questions all day long to Peter at 3 locations, The Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and Hampton Court, and I swear there was nothing he didn't know. Additionally, I have some mobility issues and Peter was there by my side to assist each step of the way. I got to see ALL of the 'must sees' on my list, and a great deal more. Peter was also patient with my slow pace AND with my shopping. Highly Recommended! (He's a history professor!)

I booked a tour to Canterbury and to Dover for my husband and I. Unfortunately my husband couldn’t make it was he was sick.
Shane was the best and just created a wonderful day for myself. I know that is harder with one and I really appreciated the extra history and things he told me. I give him a 10 stars out of 5 star review.

Please give a personal thank you to our driver, Graham Winter. It was a wonderful day traveling to Suffolk. We returned to Western North Carolina with lots of damage from Hurricane Helene. My families are all safe in their homes with lots of clean up work to do!

Dean was superb — not just a safe and thoughtful driver, but also a knowledgeable and amiable companion on our multiple excursions in and out of London. Would engage him again. An unequivocally positive review from us.

The tour company was very responsive from the first contact. They provided good details on what to expect. The driver/guide was very knowledgeable and attentive. Peter was professional but also personable. His insights enhanced the overall experience at each venue.

Excellent week touring England and Wales. Tour company helped plan the details and were so great to work with. Our driver, Dean, made the trip easy, fun and interesting. What a great driver he is in Great Britain traffic! Would give more stars if I could.

Our 5 day, 4 night tour was designed by PTE to visit some of the most picturesque, charming villages and towns in the Cotswolds. Our driver and tour guide, Dean, was informative, timely, and accommodating. The Mercedes vehicle was perfect and spacious for our group of four. It was a wonderful experience!

Private Tours of England provided a wonderful experience from start to finish!
My daughter and I travelled to England together and PTE made our trip such an enjoyable and stress free experience!
The initial planning was done with ease and professionalism and we were able to see all of our desired places. Our driver, Shane was extraordinarily kind, resourceful, knowledgeable, helpful and patient. We are so grateful to him for making our trip just perfect!! We will always treasure the memories of this wonderful time in England. It was certainly an amazing experience! Thank you PTE and Shane for all the hard work you put into providing a trip we will cherish in our hearts.

I was very pleased with this company. They planned an 8 day tour of southern England with a private driver (Kyri) for us. Some of our stops were off the beaten path. They planned the perfect trip that allowed us to go to all the places we wanted. I recommend this company and you will not be disappointed if you choose them. The trip was "seamless." We contacted them once during the tour for a minor problem and they responded immediately and took care of the problem. I was impressed.
We really enjoyed our driver, Kyri. He is such a pleasant and enthusiastic person. He is friendly, personable, and fun. He is an excellent driver. He was always on time. He told fun stories and imparted a lot of information about English culture. He generated great ideas for things to do and places to eat when needed. He took our interests into account. He is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the different varieties of Cadburies he got us to eat in the car. It made travelling even more fun! He is a gem!

Aloha
Strongly and unequivocally recommend PTE…from conception of the itinerary scope, to the finishing details of our family group’s plan and then the ease of making adjustments, everyone we worked with were both professional and helpful above and beyond what one might expect. They are clear as to what is doable within the time/days allotment and helped us prioritize and arrange accordingly. Special shout out to our driver guide and now an extended member of our ohana, Graham. He added to our enjoyment and comfortability with our tours and driving transfers with his gregarious disposition, an impeccable understanding of London and its surrounds, as well as efficient, informative communication throughout. He was able to easily adapt to our family’s pacing with mindful tweaks to our daily plan to add great value and ensure high quality each day. Mahalo to all from Hawaii.

We recently embarked on a two-week adventure through Great Britain, and our experience with Private Tours England far surpassed our expectations. The guides, John and Dean, were exceptionally knowledgeable about the rich history and landmarks of Scotland and England. Their deep expertise, combined with their warm and engaging personalities, made the trip not only informative but genuinely unforgettable. Every detail was handled with impeccable professionalism, ensuring all of our needs were met seamlessly.
John and Dean’s passion, respect, and love for the centuries-old traditions and heritage of both Scotland and England were evident in every moment, bringing the history and culture vividly to life.
What truly sets Private Tours England apart is their ability to tailor the experience so it feels uniquely crafted for you. Their meticulous attention to detail and personal touch made us feel like we were their sole focus, turning our journey through this beautiful island nation into an intimate and meaningful experience. The memories we created with their guidance made this one of the most memorable trips we've ever had.
We wholeheartedly recommend Private Tours England to anyone seeking an authentic, personalized tour experience. We will book with them again when we return and have already recommended them to friends and family.

We have traveled throughout the world and as always, employ a local tour group to maximize our experience! Private Tours of England planned a maximum exposure to London over the course of 72 hours which was spectacular! They even planned sunshine!

In any event, we needed to pivot last minute, due to an injury to my wife. Not only was our guide Grahm Winter extremely accommodating, he was knowledgeable, charming and absolutely hysterical! We could not have had a better experience than that was provided by Private Tours and their ambassador, Grahm Winter!

He and his family have an open invitation to our home in the States at a time of his choosing and our availability!

Shane was a great driver and guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Many thanks to Shane.

Private Tours England was wonderful to work with. They communicated with us promptly and were very reliable. We had a lovely day in the Cotswolds and our guide was wonderful. He went above and beyond throughout the day and even took us to see Churchill's grave. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great tour!

We recently had a terrific experience with Kyri with Private Tours England. We spent two days touring the Hampshire area (Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Windsor Castle and Hampton Court) and dropped off in London. The car was very comfortable, Kyri was loads of fun, full of suggestions and historical information and a safe and punctual driver. We loved not having the stress of driving and arranging things ourselves. We would highly recommend Private Tours England ans Kyri.

Our tour met all of our expectations. It was fabulous. Our tour guide (Shane) was kind, respectful and very flexible. We highly recommend Private Tour England.

Our trip to the English Countryside was top notch. PTE worked with us to develop an itinerary perfect for our interests. They made recommendations that were very help. Kyle suggested a hotel is Keswick which was a gem.

Our driver, Peter, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, good humored and an excellent driver. He made sure we saw all there was to see in Bath, the Cotswold's and the Lakes District. We would never have been able to see all this if we had driven or taken a coach. He took such good care of us ensuring we had all the tickets to our chosen museums and points of interest. He literally escorted us right to the entry points at all of our stops. We felt very comfortable and safe with Peter.

This was our first time using a driver for a vacation and it will be our chosen method from now on because of the great experience with had w PTE.

We thought we were paying for a "private tour" where our guide would park the car and give us a personal tour. Instead we were just dropped off to join the line. One day we had no breaks for bathroom or food until 3 pm. Another day we were dropped off at the wrong pier (for the Thames River), had to run a half mile to catch the boat, and the guide just gave us an excuse, no apology. We spent a lot of money for a fancy car and someone else to book our tickets.

Our driver Graham was the best! Extremely knowledgeable about the history of the country, a great driver, and a great guy too!
