Was a bit sceptical about my order from this company because what was offered for ‘refurbished AirPods 4’ was very cheap - £45.

I ordered when late at night when I was tired and hadn’t fully conducted my due diligence and if I had done I probably would not have ordered in the first place. The limited company is showing as dissolved on companies house which raises a suspicion, but gave them benefit of the doubt when I couldn’t cancel my order and thought I’d wait and see what the order was like.

The package turned up after a brief delay due to Royal Mail and Christmas. Shink wrapped in an apparently original embossed box or very close copy to it. The buds are printed with the apparently correct font and even the Serial number matches that on the remaining Apple Warranty when the buds are connected. Each bud has its own number when entering the settings too. So visually, they look legit. Even Chat GPT was convinced!

What leads me to believe the AirPods are counterfeit is that the case feels rather light and rattles unlike that of my old AirPods 1. They don’t connect like normal AirPods with a double tap on the case which is another clue, also some aspects of the functionality of the AirPods don’t feel as fluid as the originals might. Can’t really grumble at just over 1/3 of the Apple price!

They do the job of Bluetooth headphones well and I can use them for music and make phone calls with them and the Hey Siri function also works, but it doesn’t silence the doubts in my mind that these aren’t the real thing.

Update 10 December 2025, having used the AirPods yesterday there is a permanent hissing sound coming from them when no music is being played so I’ve asked Pristine Gadgetz if I could return these for a full refund, still awaiting a response. I will be returning them because they are not fit for purpose.

I purchased 2 "refurbished" Bose earbuds which didn't look nor feel original. Their behaviour and quality didn't represent anywhere near Bose standard. I give 2 stars only because I have received full refund after my complaint and rejection of a partial one.

i ordered a product and then realised i no longer wanted it, the customer service team was amazing and understanding, they issued me a refund straight away. I will definitely be ordering from pristine gadgets again!

I ordered a pair of AirPod pro’s and was told that they were genuine. I do not think they are genuine at all. I would not recommend getting these. First of all they do not connect to your phone properly and when they do connect you can’t move your head, talk or yawn otherwise the music will pause. They do not stay connected to your phone I often find that the AirPods disconnect and reconnect so often that it is pointless to use them. The only good thing about them was the delivery time they did come on time and it was speedy.

I do not think that these are worth the money in anyway and would highly recommend those reading this to not buy the AirPods. I am highly disappointed and would like my money back.

Firstly the product is not refurbished, it’s fake. I use AirPods 2nd gen for almost 3 years now and compared to those the AirPods Pro2 don’t sound good at all. There is no ANC, no MagSafe charging, Siri does not respond or read notifications. If you ignore all of those, they are just a regular earphones with decent sound and connectivity.

They sent me someone else’s tracking ID which caused a lot of confusion, good thing is that they are responsive with queries which helps. Overall, not a good experience and definitely not original refurbished AirPods Pro2

Defective item received and returned. This seller/shop does not adhere to their own advertised returns policy. It clearly states that the return shipping cost on a defective item will also be refunded. I have not received a full refund and now they have stopped responding to my courteous emails. Very poor customer service and professionalism. Proceed with caution.

They are selling fakes, don’t be fooled. They think they’re being clever saying they sell refurbished so may not have original parts - even the box it comes in is ‘refurbished’. Ie fake. Contest with bank and let them know the functionality is not even close to original. Absolute scammers.

The product purchased by me was genuine and not fake. I purchased some apple air pods 4th generation. The product was superb at an excellent price. It was hard to tell if it was a new product or a reconditioned product as advertised.Had a lot of reservations about buying fake products but everything seems genuine right down to the packaging. I would not have any reservations about giving this supplier a 5 star review.

I recently purchased a pair of refurbished airpods 4 and i am very satisfied with my purchase. The quality is excellent and the product is genuine at a very affordable price. Also delivery was fast. Refurbished AirPods received quickly. They are very good, you wouldn’t know they were refurbished as they are as good as new.
