Faulty item reported 3+ weeks ago, still no resolution.
I bought a Wiha electric screwdriver from Prime Tools (Order #421985) which arrived faulty. I reported the faults (with video proof via WhatsApp as requested) over three weeks ago. While the staff have been polite, I am continually told they are "waiting on the manufacturer." Under UK consumer law, my contract is with Prime Tools, not the manufacturer. I have been promised updates that never come, and I am still without a working tool for my business. I just want a prepaid return label and a refund at this stage.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, and I am very sorry for the experience you've had with this order.
Having reviewed the correspondence, I can see that you reported the fault promptly and provided the requested video evidence. My colleague Daisy followed our usual procedure and contacted Wiha on your behalf to investigate the issue. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we have not received a response from the manufacturer, which has led to an unacceptable delay in resolving the matter.
While we initially sought guidance from Wiha regarding the fault, I completely understand your frustration with the length of time this has taken and the lack of progress.
To resolve this as quickly as possible, I would be happy to arrange either a replacement unit for delivery tomorrow or a full refund along with a prepaid returns label so the item can be returned to us free of charge.
Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused and for the delays in communication. I have contacted you directly to offer these options and hope we can bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion for you.

Poor refund system
The goods I ordered were sent out promptly via Royal Mail who screwed up big time sending them back and forward round the country. After a week in their system, they decided that they couldn’t deliver them and tracking said that they were returning them to the sender. I asked for a refund and was informed that once the company had them back I would receive a refund in 4/5 days afterwards. I immediately emailed back to point out that I had never been in possession of the goods and any issues with their return was between them and Royal Mail. Again I asked for an immediate refund. This time I was told that on this occasion they would give me one. That isn’t how it works! To be fair, their customer service did try to sort it out with Royal Mail but I dislike being made to feel as if they are doing me a favour.

Don’t Trust websites
Don’t buy you get conned I made my first ever order on the 2nd of May 2026 with said company I ordered a Wera Wrench Empty case total of £27.99 and I’m still waiting on the case!.
On the website it states once you make the order you will receive emails with tracking information and the invoice I never received neither and not received the case I stent various messages and emails no answer from Prime tools!
So I did inform Prime tools that I will be making a claim via PayPal as I used that account to make my purchase that was another mistake as I’ve just received from PayPal that the claim was denied as the seller stated item delivered we’ll not to my door!
I am extremely disappointed and angry with Prime Tools and even more with PayPal they not much of a Pal!!
So don’t make the same mistake I made ordering in good faith! I really needed the case I need and that whatever you buy that it will be delivered especially my first and LAST order with Prime Tools I certainly don’t like being ripped off £27.99 yes it’s not a fortune but these days every penny counts.
I am very disappointed and angry with Prime Tools and with PayPal as well.
So just make sure that you get the said tracking information and the invoice unbelievable so angry
