Praesidus Watches Arvostelua

Liked the dial color (dark red) and design. Lume is OK. The canvas band had holes that were too far apart (1/2 in.) so it wouldn't fit right. Replaced it with a band I had that had holes 1/4 in. apart. Main problem was the second hand. It is painted black and very hard to see against the dark red dial. It should have been painted white or yellow.

La montre est tout à fait conforme à mes attentes
L’équipe Praesidius est très sérieuse, répond rapidement aux questions et a parfaitement géré le retard de livraison avec un petit geste commercial
Parfait

It was delivered fast. Great packing in beautiful wood box. But the watch i bought(ww2) was suppose to look rusty and flacking paint, that was what made it different, my was not at all, but in the end i love it as it is.

I love my new A11 LMUV watch. It was a great idea to use dial made from old Willis Jeeps. At one point I had a 1942 Ford Jeep that also had Willis parts added to it. This is why I bought the watch. Keeps good time and easy to set.

As an Army vet, I ordered one of the personalized Army watches to commemorate my years of service. It is way nicer than I anticipated. The finishing is superb for the price and the quality is wonderful as well. My wife even said it is her new favorite out of all of my watches (and that's saying something).

The only negative would be is that there was a slight delay in receiving my piece but, they emailed me to explain what happened and made it right by offering me a genuine leather watch strap to accompany my order. Both of the straps are high quality materials and very comfortable as well.

The watch is wonderful.
Thank you very much, Praesidus Team.

Product was returned due to low quality inspection. Back of the watch was misaligned which would require me to get it adjusted at a jeweler. The self winding mechanism would only hold a charge for less than 24hrs. Other watches that are cheaper have a longer runtime than this watch.

Love the design of the watch face itself but the wristband left something to be desired. We immediately replaced it with something else as we felt it was more of a ladies style wristband than mens.

I love the company concept and product line, especially since it appears to support veteran programs. The watch I bought looks well made and is very interesting. I haven't had it for long but I'm wearing it a lot. The retro metal band is very cool but tends to come unlatched frequently. Maybe partly due to operator error, not sure just yet. In any case, I like it and it looks fantastic! I feel like it was a fair value. kb

Spent 235.00 for the first watch. Battery went dead in about 2 yrs, which is reasonable. Had the battery replaced by a jeweler and watch stopped working in a few months. Spent months arguing my case and after 6 months company sent a new one. Now, in less than 6 months watch stopped. From my point of view the watch is CRAP. I would have been better off with a Timex. Praesidus should be ashamed! So I spent 235.00 for what? Nothing but aggravation. I should get a complete refund.

I had one of the best experiences with Preasidus during my watch case exchange. They were so supportive during the process, made the shippings so easy and communicating and making sure that me as a customer have the best experience during the process.

The watch looks spectacular. Everything I had hoped for, but it had a problem where it would stop running. If you barely touch the crown it would start again for a while. I contacted Praesidus and was given everything needed to send the watch back for repair. They received the watch back on May 8. On may 19 I asked for an update. I was told that the watch was in the hands of their Technical team. I sent another email for an update on May 31st, and again on June 4th. I have not gotten a reply back from either of those emails as of right now, June 6th. I don't know if I will ever get a response or a working watch back at this point.

After writing this review I got an immediate response from Praesidus saying that the watch was finished and being prepared for shipping...Then...Crickets....Nothing else. No more information. Apparently they only reply anymore when a review is written. I sent another email asking for the watch back or a full refund. Now that I am putting this on here I am guessing I will at least get a response.

It is now 6/18/2026...Multiple emails later. Have been told twice that the watch was finished being repaired and being sent to shipping. A week later since that email and the watch has still not shipped, and some of the "customer service" emails seem to be an auto-response, or a form letter email that starts with (Dear Madam/or Sir). Whenever I update this review, or last night after I blasted several Facebook post on their page, I magically get an actual response from them...At this point I do not believe a word they say. If I could rate them negative 5 stars I would. One star seems to be the lowest it will let me go.

Very bad service, still waiting for my watch after one month order and no answer from customer service (if there is any ...).

Excellent product, and was delivered in a very timely manner. I’m amazed at the quality.

I get so many compliments on my watch.

Solid watches that do as they say on the tin. Provide a vintage military tone at a reasonable price. From 4 watches over the years I've never had an issue from any.

I had an excellent experience with Praesidus. They provided exceptional service, even when I made a mistake upon checkout. (I selected the wrong color variant of the watch that I ordered.) I reached out to Customer support and they changed my order immediately. The watch arrived within the expected delivery timeline, and I walked away a very happy customer. We need more companies that pay attention like this and make the moment right for the customer. Even when the customer is wrong, or made a mistake in my case. I would highly recommend Praesidus to anyone who wants a watch with story, great aesthetics, and great performance. I've received many compliments on the watch already, which inevitably leads to a conversation about why the watches are so much more than just a timepiece.

I have two watches from Praesidus (udt and rec spec) both are fantastic for the money. They are great homages to classic military watches and I enjoy everytime I put the on.
