The Electricity Price Switch 10A is a compact, fixed-installation controller intended for installation inside an electrical box or distribution panel. It enables price-based control to be integrated directly into an existing electrical system. For higher-power applications, Powerant offers the Electricity Price Switch 32A, a single-phase DIN-rail device suitable for controlling larger resistive loads. The Electricity Price Switch 63A provides three-phase control for applications with greater power requirements. The Electricity Price Relay 16A provides a dry-contact relay that can control electrical equipment directly or operate an external contactor. This makes it suitable for integration with water heaters, heating systems, pumps, ventilation equipment, chargers, and other systems that support external control. Fixed electrical products must be installed by a qualified electrician. Powerant devices connect to a Wi-Fi network and are configured through the Powerant app. Electricity-price information is retrieved automatically, allowing the devices to operate without continuous user input. Users can select how many of the cheapest hours or 15-minute periods should be used each day. They can also define a maximum electricity-price limit, so that a device operates only when the market price remains below the selected level. Cheapest-period control and price limits can be combined using different operating rules. Consumption can also be distributed across several periods of the day, helping to prevent long interruptions in applications such as heating and hot-water production. The Powerant app provides manual control, device settings, electricity-price charts, operating-status information, and estimated savings data. The same interface can be used to manage several Powerant-compatible devices, giving users a clear overview of their controllable electrical loads. Powered by Powerant is a technology-partnership program that allows other manufacturers to add electricity-price-aware control to their own products. Through the program, manufacturers can integrate Powerant’s intelligent Wi-Fi modules into devices such as heating systems, water heaters, heat pumps, ventilation equipment, charging systems, energy-storage products, and other controllable electrical appliances. Compatible products can use the existing Powerant cloud infrastructure and Powerant app for commissioning, monitoring, and automatic control according to electricity-market prices. This gives manufacturers access to an established energy-management platform without having to develop and maintain a complete mobile application, cloud backend, electricity-price service, and device-control system independently. The platform handles the connection between the manufacturer’s product, Powerant’s cloud services, electricity-price information, and the end-user application. Customers can add supported products to the Powerant app, connect them to Wi-Fi, and configure their preferred price-based operating rules through a familiar interface.
