Don't do it. The 'free' trial is impossible to cancel, and when you get charged you can't delete your account. The site tells you that you need to downgrade to a free account in order to not get charged again. But, there's no downgrade toggle. There's no phone number to call for assistance, you have to write an email and hope someone gets back with you. Don't do it - has all the markings of a scam.

I tried to cancel my account, emailed a few times to their customer support, no answer! what kind of a company is it without a phone number.

After a couple of months, its pretty good. For some reason it won't connect to my Voya accounts. I had to put them in manually, so not very dynamic. It makes solid recommendations but i scratch my head at some of them.

1. Inability to Access In-Platform Portfolio Data:
The AI assistant's primary job should be interacting with my portfolio stored inside Portfolio Pilot, yet it cannot even read my data. It continuously asks for a "portfolio ID" without explaining where to find it. When viewing my Net Worth Portfolio, no ID exists, creating a frustrating loop where the AI insists it needs information that the interface does not provide.

2. Lack of File Uploads & External Integration:
Mainstream AI tools allow users to upload spreadsheets, screenshots, and documents. On Portfolio Pilot, I cannot upload a screenshot or document to bypass internal data limitations (e.g., sharing fund allocations that your own AI fails to pull from your system). Furthermore, the AI cannot cross-reference external benchmarks, Morningstar ratings, Zacks ratings, or institutional macro research (such as BCA or NDR).

3. Lack of Voice/Dictation Input Support:
Unlike platforms where I can dictate prompts directly, Portfolio Pilot requires typing out lengthy questions manually, making interaction tedious and inefficient.

4. Subscriber Data Retention & Downgrade Friction:
When canceling or downgrading a Platinum subscription to a free tier, users are forced to export their portfolio to a spreadsheet. If a user wants to resubscribe next year to rebalance, Portfolio Pilot does not retain their portfolio configuration—requiring them to manually rebuild their entire portfolio from scratch.

5. Product Value & Marketing Alignment:
Given past legal and regulatory scrutiny surrounding financial platform advertising disclosures, offering a stripped-down AI product feels like tacking on AI strictly as a marketing bullet point rather than delivering genuine utility to paying subscribers.

Subscribers paying for a premium tier expect an AI capable of evaluating fund allocations against rating systems (e.g., Morningstar Gold or Zacks Best Buy) and macro frameworks. I hope your product team addresses these functional flaws and data integration gaps in future updates.

I got alot of information and directions to take. Digesting it bit by bit and it looks very positive!

My objective was to get an objective assessment of an existing portfolio. Most of the info was clear but some was challenging to overlay on my existing positions. Still it was extreemly helpful.

Concept seems good however the process of determining the right products and ideal portfolio is complicated. Loading in existing financial assets was also confusing.

I canceled my subscription. I have been waiting for months to get my refund. Have gotten nothing but the run around. Company refuses to send me a physical check that I requested since they cant seem to get the funds back to my debit card. So frustrating !.

To be fair - once the issue was escalated, I received a full refund.

I signed up for the 7-day trial. I cancelled within that period. After several emails I even received a confirmation that I would not be charged. Alas, they have now charged me in each of the last two months. I have filed disputes with my credit card company, but that too is a painful process. :(

Software recognized my brokerage account but keep on getting 0 balances

I had high expectations from PortfolioPilot, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The platform feels overly generic and didn’t provide insights that were meaningfully different from information I could find elsewhere for free.

The interface is not very intuitive, and I found it confusing to navigate between features. Some of the recommendations felt vague and not well-explained, which made it hard to trust the guidance being given.

Customer support was also slow to respond, and when they did, the answers felt canned rather than tailored to my actual questions. For a product that positions itself as a smart, data-driven tool, I expected a much more polished and user-friendly experience.

Overall, it might work for beginners, but for anyone looking for deeper analysis or personalized insights, it was not worth the time or cost in my opinio

Could not figure out how to get out of demo mode and into inputting my own data. Also it aask for secuytoirties with no easy way to determine how to input individual accounts, et al IRA Roth IRA etc

Tried to add cds to my stocks but don't know where things went

Recently learned about this AI financial advisor. I have very bad experiences with human financial advisors. My 1st one put 30% of my portfolio in tech against my wishes 2 months before the dot-com crash. Next one only wanted to manage my portfolio if I sold my Apple and Google stock 20 years ago… The app gives me unbiased advise but I keep control. I happen to have experience with Machine Learning models (AI) and that is what they use. Nice UI and common sense recommendations.
