We visited the Crewe branch in our search for a special holiday that included not only one of our birthdays but also our 50th wedding anniversary within a two week period at the end of July and into August.
Jessica went out of her way to find us what we wanted and put together a trip across Canada that encompassed the dates they were working to satisfy. Unfortunately we were unable to accept this holiday as world wide insurance proved to be far too expensive.
Not to be put off they began yet another search and finally suggested a back to back cruise of the Aegean and Mediterranean with Marella (TUI) that covered the required dates. It also allowed for the renewal of our vows on board the ship whilst we were there and this was arranged/booked by Olivia. She also phoned Tui direct to ensure that this would be carried out on the wedding anniversary as there was some suggestion that it may not be possible on the exact date. As we suggested that this would be unacceptable she confirmed that if that was the case then the money we paid would be refunded. She definitely went above and beyond in this respect and we believe her to have excelled in her dealings with what was a very difficult holiday to arrange. We have visited the store on many occasions but this was one of those where the service was absolutely outstanding. We would definitely recommend all the personnel in the store to sort your holiday no matter what and would like to extend special thanks to Jessica and Olivia for what turned out to be a perfect holiday for us.

Fantastic all round. Wanted to book a Tailor Made USA trip which included an organised tour and a go your own way part. My local agency put together the perfect trip. Special mention to Sioned and Paul in the Llandudno branch for their patience and expertise. Great service.

We booked a holiday with Izzy at Polka Dot, who helped us choose the right place,(Puerto Del Carmen) as we are taking grandchildren this time.
Izzy and all the team have kept us informed and updated from booking right through to heading off, even getting our Euros sorted.

i’ve seen many posts on facebook for the longton branch but the Disney Florida one seemed a “too good to be true” price. i enquired and within 30-60mins i had a reply. they answered all questions i had relating to flights, accommodation, what’s included in the price and even gave me other options for different dates. I have used polka dot travel before by proxy and always had a positive experience. responses are fast, informative and polite. staff are always keen to help and honor any request to the best of their capabilities. they’re clear with their T&C’s and don’t keep anything hidden. typically id choose to book direct with airlines and hotels but going forward i may more strongly consider choosing the longton branch every holiday.

We popped into shop enquiring about holiday. Britney was very helpful, compairing different companies to get us the best price. We didn’t feel pressured to commit and she emailed the details we had discussed.
The following day we rang back and booked over the phone. Very professional and polite. We wouldn’t hesitate in calling Britney for our next holiday.

This is the first time in over 20 years of travelling abroad that we have used the services of a travel agent.

The service provided by Carys at the Market Drayton branch of Polka Dot travel was exceptional.

Carys showed a very professional and understanding approach to our specific holiday requirements.

We contacted Polka Dot Travel after being sent a link for TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar, which was the hotel we understood we were booking.

We subsequently spoke to the travel agent to make the booking, but when our confirmation arrived, we discovered that we had actually been booked into Zanzibar Bay Resort & Spa, a different and lower-rated hotel.

At no point during the booking process were we made aware that the hotel had been changed, just given the name of the hotel (which we know, some hotels have different names) nor did we agree to book the alternative property. We were understandably very disappointed, particularly as the hotel we had originally been shown was an important part of our decision to book the holiday.

We raised a formal complaint with Polka Dot Travel. To their credit, they did cancel the booking free of charge, but we were left disappointed that the original booking was not honoured and that we had to identify the discrepancy ourselves after receiving the confirmation.

Our concern isn’t simply that the alternative hotel wasn’t to our preference — it is that we were shown one hotel and believed we were booking that hotel, only to receive confirmation for a completely different property.

We appreciate that the booking was ultimately cancelled without a charge, but this experience has left us questioning the reliability of the booking process and the information being provided to customers.

We would strongly recommend checking your confirmation very carefully against the hotel you were originally shown before assuming everything has been booked correctly.

I recently booked a trip to Iceland for March 2027 with Tara and it was a great experience! Communication was very clear and she was really quick at looking into different dates/details and getting back to us. Looking forward to our trip, thank you Tara!!

The travel consultant was very polite and helpful.

So I used this company in Bangor. The team was very helpful and Lauren who I dealt with my booking etc was amazing with my really chatty little girl. 🤣 I booked it all last minute at a peak time and all the prices and service were 👌 Everything was so simple and clear and the transfer taxi was on time and clear on the route and links etc . went in with what I thought was an impossible task. Hen party for 16 in Portugal. Adele bless her said 'take a seat let's see what we can do' She was very patient and after lots of searches found us a couple of options that looked promising. However after a group discussion it was decided that we had moved the goal posts and we now wanted all inclusive somewhere in Spain. Adele was amazing 'ok no problem leave it with me. ' Yet again she came up trumps gave us 2 options and offered some very sound advice about changing our dates so that we could enjoy the whole experience (the dates we chose originally were in April and by moving by a couple of weeks we could enjoy the entertainment that would be on offer at this time. Amazing . Again patience of a saint she sorted it. again giving us a couple of options. I phoned yesterday to confirm what we wanted and too add 2 more to our booking (total of 18). Adele totally unphased just took it all in her stride. Told me what she needed to complete the booking and even offered a couple of add ons that we readily accepted. I agreed that I would go into the shop today to finalise everything. However, Adele informed me that she wouldn't be there today but that I shouldn't worry, the girls would be there and she would make sure they knew all about us.
I really wasn't sure - you know what its like when you go to the doctors? You see someone else and they haven't got a clue.
Not the case here. in steps Tara - bang there you go all done deposit paid,9 rooms booked for 18 ladies, flight seats booked and private tranfer to hotel.

I recently went to Polka Dot Travel Agents to book a long haul holiday I’d chosen but unfortunately the holiday was sold out. Tara then went above and beyond her role to help me get another holiday with a similar itinerary and after spending a couple of hours searching we found one. Tara was very professional and patient and did her very best to get us booked in. I would 100% recommend this travel agent, I’ve used them before and would definitely use them again.
