Pocket Option’s latest response is a clear admission that they have no defense against the evidence of Selective Refunds. They keep repeating that "public platforms are not for discussion," yet they fail to explain why user "Shivam" was refunded for the exact same OTC discrepancy while my $4,001 is withheld.

Scammed of $424 Profit - Account ID: Lanying Guo - Revoked legitimate gains!

Update - Day 17 of Dispute:

I am writing this to warn all traders about Pocket Option. My account (ID: Lanying Guo) was arbitrarily banned after I successfully made a profit.

On March 12, after several deposits and some losses, I finally managed to grow my last $100 deposit into a total balance of $524. When I requested a withdrawal of my $424 profit, the company canceled the request and blocked my access the next day. They only returned my initial $100 deposit and confiscated $424 of my legitimate trading profit.

Support claims they fulfilled obligations under "Section 10.3," but they refuse to provide any evidence of rules being broken. As per Section 5.6 of their own Public Offer Agreement, these profits were legally credited to my account. This is a classic case of a broker refusing to pay a winning client. I have all the records and will be reporting this to IFMRRC and sharing my experience on every major trading forum until my $424 is paid. Stay away!

UPDATE March 20: Support just replied again, still refusing to provide ANY evidence of the alleged "violation." They admitted my trades were valid enough to refund my deposit, but they are "confiscating" $424 of my profit without cause.

Question to Pocket Option: If I violated rules, why did you refund my deposit? If my trades were valid, where is my $424 profit? This is a classic "Broker Trap": They welcome your losses but steal your wins. I will now escalate this to IFMRRC and Forex Peace Army.

The broker claims to have fulfilled obligations by only refunding the last deposit. They are using Section 10.3 to 'reset' my account balance and erase my legitimate profits ($424). They accept my losses from March 10-11 but refuse to recognize my wins from March 12. This is selective accounting and theft.

UPDATE (Response to PO Trade Team):
Stop hiding behind "confidentiality" to avoid the truth. I HAVE contacted your official support multiple times, and their ONLY response was a generic refusal to pay my $424 profit without any evidence.

The logic is simple: If my trades were "invalid," why did you refund my $100 deposit? If my trades were "valid," why is my $424 profit missing? This is Profit Shaving. I will continue to update this case daily on FPA and Trustpilot until my funds are released.

Review/Complaint Body:
I am writing this to warn everyone: Pocket Option is not a broker; they are thieves. I have been using this platform since 2024 and lost over $26,000 without any issues. However, the moment I made a $5,000 profit and tried to withdraw, they blocked my account.

Here is how they cheat:

When I requested my withdrawal, they asked for a "Selfie with ID and date" for security.
I provided the documents, they VERIFIED my identity, and even approved a small initial withdrawal.
As soon as I tried to withdraw the remaining $4,000 of my profit, they blocked me.
First, they claimed a violation of Clause 2.9 (Fraud). When I challenged them for proof, they changed their excuse to Clause 10.3, basically saying they won't pay because I had losses in the past!

This is a "Scam Broker" that only allows you to lose. If you win, they will find any legal excuse in their "Public Offer" to steal your money. I have all the screenshots of my trades, my verification, and their contradictory support messages.

Stay away from Pocket Option if you don't want to lose your hard-earned money!

"I lost my hard-earned money

"I lost my hard-earned money, approximately $6,400 or perhaps more. Whenever I wanted to withdraw my money, they refused without any reason. You can easily invest, but withdrawing is very difficult, and you might only be able to withdraw half of your deposit regardless of how much you have earned. Based on my experience and after considering all the responses, I can say with complete transparency: the platform lacks transparency in providing information about any problems traders may encounter.

Traders cannot trade on economic news because they consider this a violation of their regulations. At the same time, they support scalping, which makes the process extremely complex and difficult to understand.

There is no legal recourse or protection for traders should they choose to take legal action. This means there is no protection for your funds. Furthermore, the licenses listed on the site are from the Island of Mwali, which are not subject to any legal oversight. To put it more clearly, the license falls into a gray area.

It's a good platform for people who make random profits on the OTC market, but it's not suitable for professional traders who aim to earn substantial sums.

Please think carefully before putting your money into Pocket Option.
They are quick to accept deposits, but when it comes to withdrawals, there are constant issues. To me, this looks more like a scam or even a ponzi scheme. Why does money go in so quickly, yet withdrawals are always problematic?
I tested different deposit methods. Using crypto, withdrawals were somewhat faster, but when paying in with a bank account, there were many complications. My first withdrawal took 2–3 days, even after my account was fully verified (bank, address, everything). When I tried to withdraw a second time, they suddenly demanded additional verification — a selfie — claiming it would take 24–48 hours to validate. I even emailed the selfie to ensure it met all requirements, but I am still waiting for verification.
Meanwhile, the support bot insists the issue is “solved,” yet I still cannot withdraw. All I want is to withdraw my funds and close my account, but this platform keeps dragging the process out for days. There are far better platforms available, and I will stick with those. Pocket Option feels like it deliberately makes withdrawals impossible so that users give up, allowing them to keep the funds. How many people have already given up, leaving their money behind for Pocket Option to take?

Każdy telefon był coraz bardziej ntarczywy — presja groźby utrtay pieniędzy i obietnice że t już „ostanti krok”. Wtedy zrozumiałem że to oszstwo. Policaj? Po pewnym czasie sprawa została umorzona — brak dowodwó brak realnych działań. Na szczęście trafiłem na foru dla poszkodowanych dzi poznałem luzdi ktrózy naprawdę wiedzieli jak działać w takich sytuacjach. Po kilku rozmowch i analizach zdałem sobie sprawę że są szanse na odzyskanie środków. Dziś kiedy mśylę o tmtych chwilach pamiętam tylko eden szczegół — ciąg cyr któyr wtedy apisałem w noattniku: 7.9.8 7.0.8 .2.0.0. la mnie to symbol momentu w którym wszystko zaczęło się zmienia. - We do not charge “taxes” via support or by phone. Taxes (if applicable in a user’s country) are handled by the client and local authorities, not by sending extra payments to “unlock” anything.
- There are no paid “AML verification fees” on PO Trade. AML/KYC checks are compliance procedures and are not something we sell as an extra service.
- We never request “unlocking fees” to access withdrawals. Any demand for additional transfers to “release funds,” “unblock an account,” or “complete the last step” is a classic sign of fraud.

All’inizio non ci credevo, ma la curiosità mi ha spinto a provare. Mi sono iscritto grazie a una persona che avevo visto sui social e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative. Ho guadagnato grazie a un gruppo (padrino), i prelievi sono arrivati in tempo e il servizio è stato veloce e regolare. Condivido la mia esperienza per chi ha ancora dubbi, come ne avevo io basta fare tutto nel modo corretto e andrà tutto bene.

I am writing to file a formal complaint against PocketOption due to their unjust handling of my account and the subsequent loss of my trading profits. A few weeks ago, my personal bank card was blocked for security reasons. In urgent need of funds, I used my sister's card to deposit $25 into my PocketOption account, with the understanding that I would repay her immediately in cash, which I did. The platform accepted this deposit without any issues, despite the card being under a different name.

Through diligent trading, I managed to increase the initial $25 deposit to $400. However, when I attempted to withdraw these funds to my own bank account, PocketOption blocked the withdrawal, stating that the deposit originated from a third-party card. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, PocketOption reset my account balance to zero, effectively confiscating my hard-earned profits. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter through email and customer support, the only response I received was confirmation that my account had been reset. I urgently seek clarification on why PocketOption chose to reset my account to zero. I am requesting your immediate assistance in recovering the $400 in profits that I rightfully earned. Can provide a signed statement from my sister if required. Your prompt intervention in this matter would be greatly appreciated, as I urgently need these funds.

First, we must reiterate that we can only verify the payment method after a deposit is successfully processed, since we cannot know which card will be used for the deposit before the deposit operation. When we find that a card used for the deposit is not issued in the account holder's name during this subsequent verification, we are obligated by our policies to take action. This is a standard security measure across regulated financial platforms.

It is also essential to clarify that the card verification was requested right after your deposit was completed, rather than when you attempted to withdraw the funds. You can verify this in your existing card verification support request. We did not state that the deposit originated from a third-party card until you uploaded card images of the card used for the deposit, and the cardholder's name reflected on it appears to be different from the PO Trade account holder's name.

Furthermore, we want to address the specific point you raised from our reply to your support ticket. The request to "upload images of the *1153 card no matter who is its owner" was a procedural step in our card verification process. It aimed to gather the necessary evidence to determine conclusively whether the card used was in your name. This evidence is required to comply with our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies, which mandate that we verify the source of funds with documentation, not just client claims or signed statements. This initial information gathering does not imply that the subsequent policy violation would be overlooked.

The core issue remains unchanged and is a non-negotiable aspect of our regulatory compliance. As stated in clause 3.3 of our Public Offer Agreement, which you accepted upon registration, all deposits must be made from a payment method bearing the account holder's name. Using a third-party card, even with permission, directly violates this term. This policy is in place to prevent money laundering, fraud, and other illicit activities, ensuring a secure and fair environment for all our users.

While we genuinely sympathize with the personal circumstances that led you to use your sister's card and understand the effort you put into growing your balance, we cannot make exceptions to this fundamental rule. Doing so would compromise our platform's integrity and the security of all our clients' accounts. Therefore, the decision to void the profits generated from the non-compliant deposit is final.

Devo dire che all'inizio ho avuto problemi per prelevare i soldi, ma poi con l'assistenza abbiamo risolto il problema. Meglio prelevare in crypto. La piattaforma è veloce, è offre tantissimi indicatori, mi sto trovando molto bene. non capisco perché vedo commenti negativi sul prelievo. Ragazzi basta parlare con l'assistenza è risolvete il problema.
