I cant believe this business model is legal.

They lure you in with a free trial, and then bill you hundred of dollars for a full year membership, if you are too slow to stop the subscription. Plus they make it utterly hard to find the opportunity to stop the description on their site.

The courses might be good but the business model is like Ryan Air's.

I was subscribed for 2 years through work. I found the quality of the tutorials to be excellent, but there was a big issue with a lot of them being outdated.

All the lessons were taught by knowledgeable people. However I couldn't justify over £200 for a lot of the out dated content.

The support staff at pluralsight were swift in helping me with cancellation I had no issues doing this as you do with some other subscription services.

Got told by work to start learning on this platform to up-skill.

The skill assessment are just plain ridiculous. Weird questions barely related to any experience acquired during my professional life. Awkward UX/UI makes it even more painful

The training material isn't great either; I have found better explanation on YouTube but you still cannot beat the docs or just diving into the programming library you need to move your project so far.

I would not recommend this for any dev that has significant experience. It is a waste of time, and you are better creating a project on your own time instead of using this platform.

The stole 213,01$ today from my credit card how is these company, I will take action with my bank.

Update: I got my money back and the company was real friendly actually they help me more then my bank, merci

This website claims to have a 7 day free trial, they will take your card number to make sure they are paid just in time, and they end up being a complete waste of time. I started a course on Boostrap 5 and after about 1 or 2 hours into the course i was suddently quicked out of the lesson with an error message stating that wasn't included in my membership and that i needed to upgrade the membership for $180. I just wasted 2 hours i could've used learning somewhere else. i recommend Udemy, they are way better and their membership is only $29.00 per month.

2ème année que nous avons un différent sur la facturation. En 2019 ils m'ont facturé 2 fois pour le même service avec un dialogue de sourd avec le service client. Cette année ils ont augmenté la facturation de 40 euros et me réponde que c'est dû à une taxe locale, sans demander au préalable de l'auto-facturation si je consentais à un tel montant, de quelle taxe il s'agit et de me fournir une preuve que ce montant à bien servit à la payer.

I had been a customer for a number of years, but the emails i'd received in 2020 made me reconsider ever recommending them again.
Apparently making an enquiry for corporate training X years prior makes it acceptable for their sales executives to decide to email you one day to tell you that they know where you log in from, (If you've used your work computer) and that you may be breaking their usage terms because you logged in at work recently, mentioning your employer's name aswell.. What was the guy trying to achieve? For me to get my employer to buy Pluralsight for IT teams..? It was a good service but their sales practice needs some work.. I remember using TrainSignal, aswell as when they were bought over by Pluralsight and had always rated them highly.. This left me wondering why it's suddenly ok for a salesperson to do this and for his colleagues in the account support to defend his actions with "X years ago you made an enquiry".. i understood the regular sales emails.. this "stalky" kind of email on the other hand is not "regular" anywhere else.

The above all happened about a year ago, I thought I'd had put in a review on TrustPilot so i looked for it, seems i never did, but instead i have found that they are still at it with other European customers..
Why i am writing this review now, about a year later, is that i liked using the service and i was learning from it, i liked watching the videos during my work commute, liked to practice at home when i could, but honestly it felt that stalking me everywhere i logged in and insinuating that I was breaking T&C terms to get me to buy a corporate membership is below the belt.

The emails that i received when i complained had a tone of not wishing to do anything about it, of protecting their sales person, and frankly this encouraged me to terminate my membership and my account.
On seeing a review from 2021makes it clear to me that they never re-trained the staff about this, instead it seems that the individual is still at it, stalking paying users off the platform.
Is Pluralsight ever going to do anything about this? seems not.

thier content is great, but their CX is shocking, hostile in fact. God help you if you need customer 'support', make sure you have your banking history to hand. For no apparent reason the courses you were doing suddenly wont work and require you to pay for an upgrade (I'm on the top tier). The pay for an upgrade page is the only path to get to your billing history, there is no link from your profile. When you have logged on and navigate to the Pay More page it shows that you are not sign in, you sign in and you can see that you all all paid up till next year. You navigate back to the course, and it still wants your to upgrade (I was half way thru the course). It seems that the right-hand does not know what the left-hand is doing at Plauralshite. For sure that have not followed any of the best practice in the the excellent courses they provide. What does seem to be an issue is they instead of logging on from your PC you log in from your iPad, it won't tell you to check your email. In fact it won't tell you that you have wasted your training day trying to get the basics working, they wont refund you for the damage done. This used to be an awesome company, but now they are all about sweating assets, thank god there is is good competition in the market these days.

Disgusted. No warning about trial expiry after explicit assurance of email notification prior to trial ending means payments starts - no warning, just took my money. shame on you - disgusted with your service & will complain to everyone I meet that Pluralsight is just a con game to take money from people gullible enough to listen to your lies. Looked around for an hour, needed to cancel & was waiting for the email verification which never came. Con merchants.

What a horrible buggy platform. I can't give too much detail on the quality of the videos though I did notice on the Java path that what I could watch was much older than I anticipated. Pluralsight refuses to acknowledge there's anything wrong with their platform even when you reach ou to them and ask for assistance so nothing gets resolved. It seems incredibly odd that in October of 2021 a website that teaches coding is that buggy and problematic. Not worth it at all! Websites like Freecodecamp, Udacity, Coursera, Sololearn, Hackerrank, Codecademy, etc all work fine and are a much better option.

Youtube is better. The videos on this website is literally for people who already know the stuff and need a reminder. I'd rather watch Youtube than this.

If you cancel your free trial, as opposed to honest companies they will not let you continue until the time runs out, they block you immediately. So they try to earn money on people who forget to subscribe and not by users who honestly like their service.

Once i subscribe I found out that the course i was interested in required an even more expensive subscription but there was no info about that on the course.

Please do NOT support sites that earn money by deciving users. There are other more honest like coursera and udemy.

I signed up in April in order to do required upskilling for work. Pluralsight has repeatedly blocked me for apparently breaching terms of service stating that my activity is unusually high . I have simply been watching alot more content than usual. They blocked me around 9 to 10pm all 3 times before the permanent block. I have not done anything wrong except use the service.

They keep sending me a link to the terms of service but cant even tell me what the actual issue is??? Naturally if I knew I would fix it.

I paid A FULL YEAR SUBSCRIPTION, they have BLOCKED ME WITHOUT REFUND which I find absolutely disgusting!!

I will be taking legal action since I have paid for a service which they now refuse to deliver.

DO NOT TRUST PLURALSIGHT WITH YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! they are unethical thieves!!!!

I will never use or recommend their services ever again!!!!

I contacted my ISP and they said everything looks fine and there are no issues.

Hi I am so excited about pluralsight they have VERY knowlegable people there. However their are not able to teach. The speak in a manner that assumes one knows more that they actually do.

I am taking the begginers python course and find that I have to substitute EVERYTHING that they say with other books JUST so that I can understand some of the things that they are saying.

It could be better.

I am a teacher and would be able to help them in their course content and delivery. Free of charge just to ensure that the content comes across in a clear and concise manner.

I signed up for trial and then was offered a 50% discount fr first month so i decided to give it a try. Then i try to login from my phone and it doesnt work. I tried from my web browser and keep getting a 403 so a waited a fed days. Reset password and still no luck, after i called support and was told my account was blocked. No warning or notice. They take your money andscrew you offer. Safe your time and money and pass

Tried to take almost double the amount I had signed up for.

support do not respond to you and even their sign in page is useless, you cannot get anything but rubbish adverts and the actual sign in is missing as main feature. i won't recommend our corporate use them in future

I was browsing Pluralsight and noticed some nice lectures about some topics. I decided to make a monthly subscription in order to view the lectures. After payment, I tried to watch the lectures, however the only thing I got to see what a message saying: "my subscription does not allow watching this lecture". I need to upgrade to premium membership.

Pluralsight does not inform the users that a specific lecture requires premium membership. I happened to find out because I complained to customer service.

I joined after previewing a 2 hour course, I wanted to take. I do not needed any certifications or to take tests. After paying the money for a subscription and then trying to click on the course, it said I need to upgrade to Premium (in the signup area it said this is for certifications). This course is not a certified course. There is NO way I am paying $45 for a 2 hour course when I can FREE content on video sharing sites (I don't even need to watch advertising on the video sites I use). No Thank You Pluralsight I cancelled my subscription!

Good quality videos and courses, however both the offline player and website have constant massive technical issues and bugs:

* Very expensive compared to similar sites, which would be justified if not for all of the bugs on Pluralsight's end.

* Online player buffers the clip completely, but then consistently and frequently stutters every few seconds. I have found no way to fix as supposedly with the clip fully buffered, it shouldn't occur.

* Very slow server responses, signing up and joining can be a 30 minute wait, after paying ~£25pcm I had to wait for almost 40minutes to be able to access any content.

* The offline player has even more bugs, such as corrupted audio for clips, not recognising you are a paid member or even logged on to access the content.

* The offline player also doesn't play clips at certain speeds, meaning you have to change the speed of the video to watch it, and then change it again for the next clip. This can be very frustrating when each clip is generally only a few minutes long

* I have tried to provide feedback on these issues multiple times, but never had any feedback or assistance for how to possibly remedy any of these, or even help on what I may be doing wrong.
