We are an existing customer with a loan facility of over £150,000 and a 100% on‑time repayment record — more than 75% of the facility has already been repaid without a single delay. Despite this strong history, we have been waiting for three full weeks for a decision on our request for additional funding. No one has shown any intention to finalise the application, and essential information was not shared until we chased it ourselves. This level of delay, lack of communication, and operational inefficiency is unacceptable for any company claiming to offer professional financial services.

good service and great idea for finance

The first time I used Playter, there were some admin issues close to the payment date, but the team were helpful and got everything sorted in time. The second time, I reached out weeks in advance to make sure everything was in place. What they didn’t tell me until the day before the payment was due was that the bill would only be spread over 3 months, not 6.

At no point had they mentioned that their credit team might offer less favourable terms - especially surprising, as our financials are stronger now than they were last quarter. Once again, the team did what they could, so I’m not giving a 1-star review, but the lack of transparency made for a very frustrating experience.
