Honestly, the service keeps getting better since I started using it. I'm impressed, I came from aternos because I had no freedom to edit mods and config files in modpacks but this has so much more than I could ever ask for. It's actually getting so good that it's worrying: how long can this last without crashing and burning?

Play.hosting provides minecraft servers FOR FREE. FREE. did I mention its free?

Anyway, the customer service is also great (through discord) with an active community. I have never had any problems, run out of ram, storage, cpu, etc (even w/ multiple players and many mods). Wake up times are only high at certain times of the day, and are almost instantaneous other times.

I like the amount of ram and cpu they provide

I have used this service since it first came out. The performance is top notch and is ever increasing. My servers runs as if it was paid for, even when I was running a heavily modded modpack. I have literally nothing negative I can say apart from not being able to edit files quickly without waiting in limbo. Other than that, it is the best free hosting I have ever used in my life

free severs that run well and that you can mod.

Very responsive and overall great experience. The fact that, as a free host, it provides better specs than the other alternatives and even some of the paid ones is completely insane! If I could give it 6 stars I would!

The servers provided are pretty good, but when combined with geyser can have some lag spikes for bedrock

Play.hosting is truely one of the best Minecraft hosting providers, they have a lovely staff, Tibo who makes amazing videos and shows the behind the scenes of the effort to make play.hosting the best free hosting providers. They offer top class hardware for free and 3 GB of ram per server. Currently they only have one location however they are planning to expand. Would recommend 10/10 on of the best hosts out there! They also offer VPS hosting for a great price.

barely any problems, low ping. only complains is that waiting to wake the server up takes 30-60mins and that you can only have one server(idk anything, but they could make so that you can store multiple worlds while still maintaining the one server thing)

I have been using it for the past few days and loving it! one nitpick i have though is that it just refuses to detect me if im on bedrock. neat website though! not many ping issues aswell considering im in the us

So far one of the best hosting websites for Minecraft, having ability to customise your server as you wish and use all resources are one of the best things I possibly imagined about while I was on aternos

by far the best free minecraft server host around, was able to run (albeit with some difficulty) a modpack with 600+ mods with little to no lag

I've been pretty happy with play.hosting, but the VPS hosting is sometimes annoying. It has like "micro-downtimes" of a few seconds to a few minutes every now and then, where I then have to connect to the server again to start the program running on there, which is pretty annoying, but else good. Pricing isn't the most appealing, but not much over market.

Literally the best free hosting service because you can literally modify anything you want through files + you can add mods from outside and many other features that other free services has

Works well for what it is!! It's completely free and easy to use. Very good option for small servers for friend groups!
