Big thank you to Wynne for helping me pass mod1 first time and big thank you to Sam for helping me pass mod2 first time. I had a great experience with these guys, really enjoyed my training days. 👍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nothing but great things to say about Liam & everyone at Phoenix! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating from the lovely ladies I spoke to who booked my dates in to face2face training with Liam and Ben.
Having never ridden before we got me sat on a geared bike on session 1 and I was taking my mod2 on session 7 and passed no minors!!. I need to give a specific mention to Liam, you have been a star from day 1, very friendly, personable, encouraging and patient! It’s appreciated & was great fun! I was lucky enough to train on the cb750 hornet and take my mod2 on the cb650r which is a dream bike for me! I’ll 100% be returning for an advanced course and anyone looking to complete a CBT/DAS or training of any kind I’ll be sending them your way. Couldn’t be happier with the journey and the result!! Rich 😉

Sammy is a great asset to the team as are the rest.
Today has been especially great as the granddaughter gave birth to a baby boy at 14.15 weighing in at 9lb 13oz.

I had a really great experience with Phoenix Motorcycle Training School. The instructors were patient, helpful and very instructive throughout the whole process. As someone who had little to no experience riding a motorbike, I was initially quite nervous, but they built my confidence and taught me everything I needed to know.

Thanks to their guidance and support, I managed to pass both Module 1 and Module 2 on my first attempt! I’m really grateful to the whole team and would highly recommend Phoenix Motorcycle Training to anyone looking to learn and get their motorcycle licence.

I just passed my full motorcycle licence. Lee was fantastic—extremely friendly, patient, and completely focused on helping you pass. He takes the time to explain every technique with genuine care, breaking things down in a clear and encouraging way that really builds your confidence on the bike.

It was a brilliant experience from start to finish. If you're looking to get your motorcycle licence, I highly recommend training with Lee!

Just had a fantastic two day Enhanced Rider Scheme accredited, which having returned to bikes after 40 years, was worth every minute and every pound, it changed my riding behaviour for the better as the road and bikes are very different after 40 years. My instructor, Paul Collins, delivered with direct dry wit, which just what I needed, really enjoyable, but seriously, just what I needed, potentially a life saver, you must do it, the cost is irrelevant!

Instructors at Chippenham were ace! Great day out and very thorough and informative. Can definitely recommend

Great team. During my 4 day DAS package I had experience with 3 instructors:

1. Christ White: A very experienced and very funny guy, made you laugh with his joke al-around. He started by explaining all aspects of both Mod-1 and Mod-2 test. Than after giving us (2 learners) a couple of laps at the training section of their track so we can get familiar with motorcycle (and controls), he took us to the road and to the test centre were we saw an actual Mod-1 test and than we came back to the test centre. Took us around 2 - 2-1/2 hour. During our time on the road he was watching us and continuously, guiding and letting us know how we were doing. He also made us stop for 3 to 4 times were at least one of us made an error which need to be addressed and need explanation. (by the way, I was happy he pointed-out our mistaked for example early or late signalling at round abouts or going through straight though them, but i was very surprised when the other learner was very un-happy. I did not understood why was that, because I would like my teacher to identify my mistakes so we can address them and as a result should not be making them in real exam, but anyhow may be it was because the other learner was a youngster). Later that day he trained us for MOD-1. By the end of the day I was feeling MOD-1 maneuvers very easy, as a result did pass my MOD-1 without any minors (faults).

2. Harrison Browne: I am so happy I got him as an instructor for my MOD-2 training, for me there is 2 other types of challenges than normal learners, 1st I am a 48 years old guy riding motorcycles since 1991 and developed the riding style suits where no (almost) rule is applied (in Lahore, Pakistan), very confident in that respect that I can ride or drive anything, but very low in confidence that I can do it while not breaking all the rules :) 2nd is, being living for a short time in the UK, it's sometime difficult to understand the fast (British Accent) English and you know you have to follow the instruction given on the radio and you can not reply as this is one-way radios. Both problems were non-existence due the the way Harrison conducted my training, he was very patient while appreciating me which eased my anxiety and he has a very clear way of giving instruction over the radio, I understood everything he asked. Moreover he made me practice all the possible exam route and also we stopped many times to understand all the complex/ tricky junctions. Thank you Harrison.

3. Sam Roodenburgh: He was assigned to take me to the test centre on the MOD-2 test day. He took me around 1 1/2 hour before the exam and we again did practice in actual test rout areas. Although, Harrison took me and explained me all the tricky points but Sam took me again to all of these tricky point and I missed one of them and went straight (which was actually left-turn) when following the road, I should be curving with the road. So, he stopped and explain me my mistake, that, I can not go on that road without indicating left, and during the test I was just saved due to this second practice and examiner took me to that route, and I just remembered on time to stay with the curve. Moreover, his accent was also very easy to understand. Thank you Sam.

I found them pretty busy, each day I went many other learners were doing different level of trainings. One more thing all of the other learners I saw there were white. Mentioning because where I did my cbt, it is also a big chain, on that day 2 groups of 4 learners with each trainer, none of them was white, just an observation.

I absolutely loved learning with phoenix and their instructors. Most of them were so understanding with me and changed their style of teaching if I wasn’t understanding something due to my autism. There was only one I had a problem with but other than that overall it was a great experience. The firefighter was my favourite and made it so easy for me to learn and understand what was needed of me, and then the lady (caz i think her name was) came a close second, purely because she didn’t let me give up even when i was struggling to get my CBT.

Great courses with the guys at Cwmbran. All the staff put you at ease, extremely patient and took time when I struggled with aspects.

Never felt under pressure to move on, and they assured me I was ready for the tests.

Would definitely recommend the Cwmbran branch.

i had some excellent instructors at pheonix training liam was excellent and very patient with me but managed to get me to the standard of passing my full license
