I have spent thousands here in the last couple years. Plumbing parts are put in boxes with no bubble wrap or interior packaging. Heavy and often sharp components can easily punch through the box in transit. One box arrived with something missing and a small hole in the box just big enough for it to slip out. The general theme of customer service is to ignore you. After weeks of chasing them, somebody agreed to send a replacement, accept they never did, back to being ignored again. Only a cheap part and they are willing to lose a customer over.

Our experience with PEX Universe was incredibly frustrating and unnecessarily complicated from start to finish. The ordering process turned into unbelievable bureaucracy and delays.

After placing our order, they requested that we send pictures of our credit card and driver’s license via email. We refused to do that for obvious security reasons. After multiple phone calls back and forth with different representatives, we were finally able to move the order forward—but only after providing our credit card information again over the phone, even though it had already been entered online during checkout.

Communication was extremely disorganized. One representative would call, then another would follow up with different information, and the order kept getting delayed. Once the item finally shipped, we were charged a $60 freight fee that had never been disclosed beforehand. The website clearly indicated free shipping, so this additional charge felt misleading.

Getting a tracking number was another ordeal. No one could provide clear information, and I ultimately had to track down the shipping company myself just to get status updates.

We needed the pump for a project that was already delayed, so we had no choice but to continue with the order, but the entire experience was terrible. Between the unnecessary documentation requests, repeated payment verification, poor communication, surprise shipping charges, and lack of tracking information, the process was extremely frustrating.

I will not purchase from PEX Universe again.

I ordered standard 3 ft copper pipes (nothing on the listing said it was a special order), and I even bought a few extras just in case. When I tried to return the unused ones, they suddenly claimed the items were “special order” and refused the return. The pipes are still in perfect, unused condition, and I was even willing to pay for return shipping. I’m sure they could resell them easily, but they didn’t want to work with me at all. I won’t be doing business with them again.

Pex Universe offered an excellent price about 25% below several competitors on a hard-to-find part (EX-60PRO expansion tank) with free overnight FedEx shipping that proceeded precisely as promised with numerous updates. Doesn't get much better than that!

The order was delivered within 2 days and the quality of the product was top notch. Price was better than any other vendor I found in my search. I highly recommend Pexuniverse and will use them in the future,

Do not buy from this site if you want something delivery at right time.
I ordered pump from them on Thursday and they have service 2 Days delivery which i need to pay for that. They charged and ship right after i paid and next day i called them, the sale person told me Do you understand that is Impossible to delivery on weekend? So if you can't do that why you accept the pay. Then she told me you can return if you dont want it.
Yes i returned the item, it was delivered on Monday and no email confirm from them, after a week i had to ask and they refunded but -220.46 for what i dont understand. Emailed, No answer from them. I opened dispute with this steal

Ordered tankless water heater. Had to call them to release order-no big deal. Shipped the unit out and it ended up in the Fedex-fool vortex of failed deliveries. Waited half day 12/5 as signature was required for delivery, all day 12/7, all day 12/9 and it's now 12/10 and SUPPOSED to be out for delivery today but package seems to be bouncing between south Denver metro area and Henderson, north of Denver at their hub. They destroyed the label on 12/5 supposedly(may be just an excuse for not delivering) and it took 4 days to get a new label on the box. Was no where near Denver when it was supposed to be del'd on 12/5. Pex Universe picks the incompetent shipper and they literally don't care where it is once it leaves the warehouse. After reading other negative reviews about their 'queen bee' manager that loves to be snarky, I'm sure I won't get any help from them, despite numerous emails. Have ordered from Supply House dozens of times with no issues and amazing shipping speeds(they don't use Fedex). Clown Universe was a couple hundred cheaper and it's clearly due to NOT having anybody to provide customer service.

Ordered several items. Immediately complied with their discourteous demands for copies of my drivers license and credit card ("The order that you placed with us is currently on hold"). They do not bother to reply with an acceptance of the item so I called to confirm. A week later no word and so I called again. They state the item will be ready for shipment in a few days. "Usually ships: within 1 business day" is what the item stated upon purchase. Next they state that they will not deliver it to a residential address. It's just a 115 lb water tank in a box and a 15 lb pump in another box. I state that I have a loader with forks but they tell me they still will not deliver (no mention of willing to do so for an an extra fee, which I later find out was possible). A week later they refund the money but kept 3% ($36.82). Called them as they state that this is their policy....nowhere on their website does it state this nor did they inform me when I call previously. Overall, very deceptive and very poor customer service.

I placed an order last week and received a call this week requesting that I email them a copy of my credit card and drivers license. Very scammy!! Not doing business with them ever again.

Price was fair, but stated would be delivered by the 5th or 6th and was not even accepted at the shipping location until the 5th, and I am located in northern ca and the package was shipped from Brooklyn. will not be receiving my package until the 11th at the earliest. I should have read the reviews because seems everybody is having the same issues.

Ordered simple 3-in 11.25° elbow. Stated on shipping that it would be here by a certain date. Item still hasn't moved through freight it was accepted it hasn't moved. Called customer service number waited on hold until it forced me to not wait on hold anymore and leave a message. Still haven't received a call back days later. Emailed them and still haven't received it an email or a call back from that. So they obviously don't care. Update. Finally spoke with whats supposed to be customer service but that's a lie. It's sat in the same spot for 4 days now and she didn't want to try and reach out to ups and see why. Won't do a refund and then lied about having anything to reship to solve the problem. Once I called her out on the lie she backpedaled like crazy still not helping though. In her words I can get a refund when the part shows up. But things how UPS is never going to get the part here looks like I can never get a refund. This company is trash do not use them. They do not care about you they will not help you. Absolute garbage. One fitting said a whole job back will never use this company again.

Horrible Service – Failed Delivery and Unhelpful Customer Support

I recently ordered a part from them via their website, and I’m extremely disappointed with the entire experience. I paid $13 for shipping on a $3 part, selecting the option that was listed as having an estimated delivery for the following day. Since the part was time-sensitive, I made sure to choose the fastest delivery option, trusting that they would meet their promise.

Unfortunately, the part did not arrive on time, which caused a significant inconvenience. When I called customer service to address the issue, I was met with an unhelpful response. The representative informed me that it wasn’t their problem, offering no solutions or assistance.

I understand that shipping delays can happen, but the lack of accountability and the poor customer service response make this experience extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this company, especially if you need something delivered in a timely manner.

Disappointed with their customer service. I received a defective product, and instead of issuing a full refund, they tried to charge a restocking fee and only offered a replacement. This is not how fair business practices work, especially when the defect was their fault. I won't be ordering from them again.

Pex universe was cheaper than everywhere else I looked by far. They had some bad reviews but took paypal so I ordered. They called me 2 hours after ordering to confirm my address and then shipped. Would have had the vent pieces in 2 days but snow storm delayed a day, which obviously wasn't on them. Will definitely be using them in the future.

The products are almost always a little better for a little less money, come faster than you'd think possible, and are easy to shop for online. How can you beat that?

Horrible customer service and support. Chat message was closed several times before resolved etc. Once product was received it was horribly wrapped and they would not cover return shipping.

I paid for next day shipping. The Company called me and said I needed to pay an additional $275 shipping because their system didn't calculate it correctly. I told the company they should be responsible for it and that shouldn't be on me. They didn't care. I ended up taking out the item causing the issue from the order, yet I still paid the same original shipping cost. To the company's credit, I did receive the remainder on time. The Company also called me the day after my order and wanted me to give my credit card over the phone or email a picture of it and my ID. I already entered by card when I placed the order. This is so sketchy and not the proper way to do business. I will not use them again due to the credit card and ID issue.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received! The package was not sealed well and parts fell out of the box. The delivery driver saved the parts and brought them to me in a pile. I received an incorrect item, a pressure gauge test kit. When trying to use the pressure gauge I found out that it would not hold any pressure because it had dozens of pin holes in the seal! Not even 5 psi! When I contacted customer service and explain the issue, they were extremely rude, condescending, unhelpful and at times insulting. They refused to acknowledge they sent me the wrong part, even after sending them a picture. The gauge was not even made by the same manufacturer. The customer support knew absolutely nothing about the parts they were selling. When I asked to speak to someone else, they refused. They could not have been less helpful and would not assist in returning the item. The bad pressure test gauge I received leaks where the threaded nipple attaches to the bushing and the housing before the gauge itself. The item I ordered is a single piece bushing. It also does not have the Bar readout like the picture on their website.
