PEW is a software development studio founded in Genova, Italy in 2023, built on a simple idea: high-quality custom software shouldn't be reserved for companies with enterprise-sized budgets. We design and build full-stack digital solutions — custom web development, application development, product development, and AI integration — for businesses that need real engineering, not just a template. Since our founding, we've delivered 200+ projects for 100+ clients across industries including energy, fintech, and retail. Our work spans modernizing legacy infrastructure, building scalable onboarding platforms for fast-growing fintechs, and connecting multi-partner retail networks to real-time systems. In one engagement, we modernized the legacy IT infrastructure for a solar energy provider operating 45,000+ panels, reducing downtime and doubling daily operational performance. For a fintech platform now managing $3M+ in assets, we built the client onboarding system and automated account provisioning so growth no longer meant administrative overhead. For a national electronics retailer with 10,000+ retail partners, we connected their warehouse to a real-time inventory platform, cutting order processing time by 60% and stock discrepancies by 25%. Our process runs in three phases: Discovery & Analysis, Development, and Implementation & Handoff. Every project starts with a structured assessment of existing systems, stakeholders, and requirements before development begins, and clients work with a single dedicated point of contact throughout — no fragmented communication, no scope drift, no surprises at delivery. For clients running mission-critical infrastructure or sensitive data, security and uptime are built into the project scope from day one, not treated as an afterthought. We regularly integrate with existing infrastructure rather than requiring a rip-and-replace approach.
