We used PetStay for the first time. I will be honest we were a bit nervous about finding the right carers for our fur baby " Benjy" but our minds were put at ease when I spoke with Carole & Katie. They made the process so easy. They found us a fantastic couple John & Wendy. We could not ask for two better people to look after Benjy. When we first went to meet John & Wendy they made us feel so welcome & at ease. You could tell by Benjy that he really liked them both. When Benjy was staying with them they kept us up to date every day with pictures & videos, which really helped us to see how settled he was. John & Wendy went above & beyond with Bengy & we are so pleased that we have found such a wonderful couple to look after our cheeky Benjy.
We would highly recommend PetStay for anyone looking for a carer for their dog.

From our first meeting we knew Willow would be absolutely fine. The house and setting is very comfortable and willow was happy to be left. They absolutely loved her and made a real fuss of her. We wouldn’t hesitate to book for Willow to stay with them again.

This was Arlo's second stay with Jacqui and Ray through PetsStay, and once again we couldn't be happier with the care he received.
Arlo stayed for 11 days and was clearly treated as one of the family. Jacqui and Ray are warm, caring, and genuinely love dogs, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We received updates and photos during his stay, and it was lovely to see how settled and happy he was.
When we collected him, he was relaxed, content, and clearly very fond of his hosts. Knowing that Arlo is so well looked after makes it much easier for us to enjoy our holidays.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Jacqui and Ray to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring home-from-home environment for their dog. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Arlo once again.

We have just picked up our Cocker Spaniel, Olly, from Vicky after a ten day holiday. From start to finish, we cannot praise or thank Vicky enough. She sent us daily photos and videos via WhatsApp and took care of him as if he was her own! Vicky certainly puts her customers’ minds at ease with her daily updates and we will can highly recommend anyone using PetStay in the Inverness/Nairn region to use Vicky. A superb experience.

We used petstay for the first time, and have had a lovely experience. Our sitters put our mind at ease straight away with photos and messages every day several times a day. Our dog had a wonder time and would defiantly be using again. The agent, Claire was great with communication and finding us a match was a smooth experience!

We've been using Petstay for around ten years. Our dog Barney is always contented and comfortable with his carers (you just know don't you?). We recently moved to a new Petstay area and Susan (Chester & The Wirral) has been so helpful - the transition was seamless. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Petstay.

We've used Pet Stay for a number of years now and always have the same carers, Kevin and Tracy. We book our holidays around them, if they can't have Sky - we dont go! I dont trust just anyone with Sky but when she goes to Kevin and Tracy's I know she is well looked after. As soon as I say their names at home Sky gets excited. When we drop her off, she jumps out of the car and runs up to their door with no hesitation. When we pick her up, her loyalty is clearer divided, shes pleased to see us but clearly isn't in a rush to come home!

I don't know where to start. Our dog Buster had a reoccurrence of a back issue shortly into his stay. By that time we had travelled 1/2 way around the world and were of little use in getting things sorted out. Anne (the carer) and Jane (the manager) stepped up to the plate and got Buster the help he needed. They drove across the city so that Buster could see his own vet. Once he had his medication Anne looked after him as if he was her own.
We got regular updates and were able to continue with our holiday knowing that Buster was getting looked after so well.
I cannot thank Anne and Jane enough. I'm really grateful for their dedication and professionalism.

Max has had a great time with Ruth again.
Ruth is absolutely brilliant with him, he feels at home right away. Max gets loads of play and affection which he loves.
Ruth provides photos and videos so we can see how well cared for he is.

Teddy & Buddy our cockapoo’s have been to stay with Alison and Frank for the 4th time and always come home wanting to know when they will be going back again. They truly live their best lives when on their holidays with Alison and Frank and adore their outings and visits!

Mary-Anne and family took care of our boxer while we went on holiday for a week. They took really good care of Ella who was able to relax being the only dog in the house. They sent photos to us of Ella relaxing and on walks so we could see she was happy and not stressing about being away from home. When we collected Ella she was in very good condition and happy - overall we can highly recommend this service.

My Pomeranian, Toby, stayed with Carole for two weeks over Easter and almost didn't want to come home. He is an anxious dog and i was worried about leaving him but, i didn't need to be. When i picked him up he was happy to see me but, also sad to leave. It was clear that Carole had looked after him super well and we have already re-booked her for next holiday. A great experience with booking through Jason and the whole stay. A+ and highly recommended

We had a happy experience leaving our two schnauzers with Petstay. They were well cared for and returned fit and happy. Consideration was taken into account for their respective ages, one young and one old, and both with their quirks! We will definitely use the service again with confidence.

I left my 2-year-old Lurcher, Nellie, with a PetStay boarder while I went abroad with my family. Around 14 hours later, while boarding my flight, I was informed that she had escaped from the property after getting out through the front door.

What was most distressing was the handling of the situation afterwards. I later discovered via Facebook posts from members of the public that Nellie was no longer in sight and had been seen running loose near roads and train lines. This was not communicated to me directly at the time.

While abroad, I ended up coordinating much of the response myself, including contacting family, local rescue groups, vets, volunteers and drone search teams. Due to the seriousness of the situation, I made the decision to cut short a family holiday and return to the UK after only 48 hours abroad.

Nellie was missing for a total of 85 hours and missed essential epilepsy medication during this time. Thankfully, with the help of volunteers and search groups, she was eventually found safely. However, following the incident, Nellie went on to suffer further severe epileptic seizures due to a delay in her receiving her medication, requiring additional veterinary treatment, blood tests, and an increase in her medication.

I appreciate that my direct financial expenses were reimbursed through insurance. However, I remain extremely disappointed by the overall handling of the incident, particularly, the lack of urgency and lack of accountability shown.

At no point did the boarder offer me a direct apology for the distress caused. Instead, the final communication I received from her focused on Nellie needing further training and having “no recall,” rather than accepting responsibility for the fact that a boarded dog had escaped from the property.

I understand that accidents can happen, but I do not believe this situation was handled appropriately, and based on my experience, I would not feel confident using this service again.

Frankie and Ivy went to stay with Martyn, Kelly and the kids for a week and had a wonderful time while I was on a work trip. The dogs have really bonded with them, this was their second stay with the family and the pugs charged through the door like they own the place. They received excellent care, lots of snuggles, meds administered and came home happy and exercised. I got photos and updates every day and they manage the quirks of both dogs so well - I can go away knowing they're receiving the best care and all the love and attention they deserve. Thank you to Jane at Petstay for finding such wonderful caregivers.
