vielen Dank für dein Feedback. Es tut uns leid, dass dir die Registrierung zunächst umständlich erschienen ist.

Unser Support-Team hat auf alle vier deiner E-Mails jeweils innerhalb von weniger als 5 Minuten geantwortet und dir genau erklärt, welche Schritte noch erforderlich sind.

Damit dein Sitter-Profil für Tierhalter sichtbar wird und diese dich für deine Services buchen können, musst du zunächst deine Services und Preise einrichten. Die Identitäts- und Hintergrundprüfung ist ebenfalls ein notwendiger Schritt, den alle unsere Sitter durchlaufen. Schließlich möchten Tierhalter darauf vertrauen können, dass ihre geliebten Vierbeiner in sicheren und verantwortungsvollen Händen sind.

Die Gebühr von 19,90 € deckt diesen Prüfprozess ab und wird nicht für die reine Registrierung berechnet.

Wir hoffen, dass diese Erklärung dir hilft, den Ablauf besser einzuordnen, und dass du dein Profil nun erfolgreich fertigstellen kannst. Unser Support-Team hilft dir selbstverständlich gerne weiter, falls noch etwas unklar ist.

The verification fee covers the full verification process, including your identity check, background check, a manual review of your application by our team, reaching out to your references, and the technical and administrative resources required to carry out these checks.

These processes take real time, effort and resources. We deliberately invest in them because pet parents are entrusting us with something incredibly important: the safety and wellbeing of their beloved pets. They need to be able to feel confident about the people offering pet-sitting services through Petme.

The recommendations you mentioned also serve an important purpose. They help us verify that a sitter genuinely has the experience they claim to have and give us insight into how they have cared for and treated animals in the past.

Together, these checks allow us to build a community where pet parents can have greater peace of mind when choosing a sitter. We understand that this may feel like a more involved process than simply signing up for an app, but that is precisely because we take the responsibility of connecting people with pet sitters seriously.

Pet parents browse sitter profiles and reach out to the people they feel they can trust and who seem like the right fit for their pets. Petme provides you with the visibility and tools to showcase your experience and services, but we can’t make that decision for pet parents or direct bookings to a specific profile.

What we can do is put you in front of the right people and give you the tools to turn that visibility into bookings. A complete profile, detailed experience, good reviews and activity on the platform can all help pet parents feel more confident reaching out.
