Bought pajamas - pricey, but really nice. Unlike the airlines, they default a $4.95 insurance charge that you had better notice and must UNcheck if you don't want to pay. It is not clear until you see the total and it's almost $5 more than expected.
I purchase a lot online, I have NEVER seen this on any other retail site--any with optional insurance (airlines, rental cars) ask "Are you sure?" but NEVER automatically include.
Apparently, if you don't receive the item, onus is on YOU to figure out what happened, and YOU must file a claim.
Customer assistance is difficult to reach, my three calls at different times of day went to an answering service, that can only take messages, but cannot help customer.
They did remove charge after I sent email, but I would have given 5 stars if they had a normal checkout page with OPTIONAL (not defaulted) insurance.
Change that and I'll add four more stars and tell my friends.

Ordered from Petite Plume and never received my package. Tracking has been stuck on “Moving Through Network,” and customer service told me the last scan was a date that appears to be an automated update, not a real scan.

Instead of resolving the issue, they told me to file a claim myself because I didn’t purchase extra shipping protection. Disappointing experience, especially for a premium brand on a first order.

Petite Plume is another disaster when it comes to shipping. They say it is free shipping (over $125 crazy) they then add $5 for some 3rd world shipping company to completely screw up every single order.

Terrible customer service. You get the answering service. They say all customer representatives are busy. Take your name and number. No return calls. The mistake was on their part, not mine. I sent proof via email with no response.

We bought Beautiful men’s and women’s pj’s. Super soft, quality materials and wonderful customer service as well!

Very high quality pajamas made with very soft cotton material and high quality buttons. And nicely packaged.

I placed several orders from this company for christmas gifts. The order that was to be shipped to me was returned by the shipping company without ever attempting a deliver and the address was correct I have repeatedly tried to contact customer service by email as they do not provide at phone contact and have not heard anything back. ZERO customer service. I don't have the gift nor any type of refund. Unacceptable!
