Book arrived expertly wrapped, in pristine condition. Exactly as advertised. I fully trust them to handle rare and delicate items.

Prompt dispatch of the book. The downside was FedEx. Their tracking system got it wrong and they’re a nightmare to try and speak to. For deliveries to Australia, I would recommend going with a courier company that has a relationship with Australia Post so the parcel is dropped at a local post office if no one is home on the first attempt to deliver it.

I have purchased books from many fine bookstores, but I think Peter Harrington may be the finest seller from whom I’ve ever purchased. The inventory is just amazing and the customer service is second to none. Shipping to the United States is surprisingly fast which obviously is quite important when shipping rare books. The excellent professional packaging included a pamphlet on the storage and care of rare books which new collectors will appreciate and from which even seasoned collectors may learn something. I will be purchasing many more books here in the future!

It's not only rare books, sometimes also old photographic prints are found in the vaults of Peter Harrington. Sending them over to the continent is a risky task. How would this fragile remnants of Jazz royalty arrive at the buyer? Well, they were wrapped with such care, you even felt the thoughtfullness, which went into all the extra fine paper to fill every cavity in the parcel and prevent any harm. What a great job done in all the details it takes to make book lovers (and photo collectors!) happy!
