The mosquito trap showed in the ad actually showed up saying for wasps even though the ad says it's not like all the ones that catch wasps and moths. After an entire month with BioLure, I haven't caught anything but flies, wasps, moths. For a refund they want ridiculous documentation of how many hours you're outside, how many bites you got, pictures of set up and daily capture. Ours is at our cabin, too far to drive to daily and I can't spend 14 consecutive days there. I saw the exact same trap ror wasps in the store for half the price. They denied my request for refund because I couldn't document properly. The ad says refunds but the criteria is ridiculous for a fake product. So this is a scam as far as I'm concerned. I don't recommend this. Stay as far as possible from it

This thing is a complete scam. Picture shows a bucket sized trap. It’s actually the size of a tea cup. 4 weeks set up in a bad mosquito area and not a single bug. Don’t waste your money.

Don't make the mistake that I made! Don't waist your money on "BiteShield" sold by Pest Proof co. Over a period of one week, the 2 traps I purchased only caught 1 mosquitoe. The traps caught around 20 small moths. I am still beings swarmed by mosquitoes in my yard. I was lead to believe that these traps were the answer. THEY ARE NOT! And now in order to possibly receive a refund of my money, Pest Proof co. requires that I take photos of the traps everyday for 14 days and submit the photos to them. What a bunch of BS! Save your money, don't waist it on this crappie product!!!

Bought 4. Ads say the attractant powder lasts weeks but the instructions that come with them say they last 10 days which is really just 1 week+. Okay efficacy - I've had them for over 2 weeks. Changed them out 10 days in as instructed. First observations showed only moths and small flys. If you put them on the ground, cockroaches love them. Maybe they should be re-packaged as cockroach traps as I haven't found ANY dead mosquitos so far. Maybe they don't like the smell, which is a little objectionable - I don't blame them.

The ads are very misleading on the size of the trap. It is very small. I followed the instructions and the trap caught 2 wasps in 3 days. Not a single misquito was caught. There return policy is horrific and should be read carefully. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT BUY

The product is garbage. Does not work! Do not waste your money. Their 30 day money back guarantee makes it impossible to get back.

I contacted Pest Proof via its Live Chat function and they didn't respond. Or at least haven't responded after 8 hours. I asked, "How much carbon dioxide is produced by the traps?", something they talk about a lot in the ads. My suspicion is that they have no idea, that they have never tested the trap and simply rely on AI-generated images that show lots of mosquitoes. I'm also receiving lots of ads from a Facebook page called,“Better Living Daily.” These ads are packaged as "unbiased reviews" but when clicked go right to the BiteShield Mosquito Trap ordering page. Both Pest Proof and Better Living Daily trace back to a shell company called Farmer White, LLC, registered in Sheridan, Wyoming, a town that is home to hundreds of thousands of e-commerce scams.

I'm hoping that somebody reviewing this company will share the address from which the product was shipped. I'd love to better understand who is behind the scam. Find me online to share pics if you have them.
