I chose Pedal Britain because of the route they were to follow from Lands End to John O’Groats - avoiding the big conurbations and using quiet roads wherever possible. Their organisation was great from dropping my bike off to the end at JOG. Nothing was too much trouble for Darren or Paul and they worked hard to overcome some real issues

This is my fourth tour with pedal Britain and they just keep getting better.
Will return soon for the France tour. Darren and Paul are suberb you can’t fault how they go out of their way to ensure you have a great (gruelling at times) time encouraging all the time thanks lads.

I have just finished LEJOG with Pedal Britain. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life.
Darren was an exceptional guide, and helped to make these experiences more enjoyable. There were one or two logistical problems in the group, and he. managed to sort out all the issues.

Just finished a two week Lejog tour with Pedal Britain. They are a very impressive outfit with timely communication, excellent planning and they are very keen to give clients a good experience. I had major mechanical issues on the tour and I was impressed with the extra effort they made to resolve this for me.

This is my second tour with Pedal Britain and it exceeded my expectations. Darren and Paul make a great team, nothing is too much trouble and their positivity is wonderful. I have some dietary limitations and Darren messaged before the tour basically saying "send me photos of the food and snacks you need for the brew stops", and he bought everything I asked for. Same with the lunch stops at cafes and pubs, Darren sorted everything in advance and looked out for my wellbeing when I was suffering from stomach cramps.

Moreover, the way that Paul and Darren looked after Brian, an 87 year old LEJOG rider was incredible and brought me close to tears a few times. They treated him like a precious cargo throughout the trip.

Darren was thrown a few curve balls on the tour, from bikes not turning up from USA to a brief visit to A&E, but just took it in his stride. His generosity is wonderful too, buying coffee rounds outside of what we expected and a lavish lunch of chicken, smoked salmon and tuna on day 12.

No hesitation in recommending Darren and the team. I've already booked another tour for 2026.

PB is a quality company and organisation The trip mizen head to malin head was exceptional. We had 2 excellent guides who looked after us so well. The route chosen and accommodation was first class. I can highly recommend this trip as Ireland is so beautiful whatever the weather.

Just completed LEJOG with Pedal Britain, what an amazing adventure, I can highly recommend them. The team looked after us from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for them even going to the effort of finding Chocomel for the brew stops. As I turn 60 this year I have achieved one of my bucket list goals and have memories that will last a lifetime, my sincere thanks to Jamie, Les, Darren and his team along with my fellow riders to make my dream come true.

I have just completed LEJOG with Pedal Britain. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. The riding is a physical challenge but the end-to-end journey is made so much easier by Pedal Britain's excellent organisational skills. The route planned by Pedal Britain is brilliant taking in the most scenic parts of UK and the support provided by their guides went well beyond what I expected. Pedal Britain provides a friendly, safe and supportive means of undertaking LEJOG; an epic cycling adventure. Everything is very well organised: excellent accommodation, meals, tea breaks and lunches en route as well as technical support (eg sourcing local bike shops easily when neeed). In short, a great value and fun way to achieve a landmark cycling challenge.

Wild Atlantic Way Ireland what a fantastic trip, made even better by two great guides Rob and Alison. Amazing scenery, great hotels and professional organisation made to look easy by Rob and Alison, can't praise them enough for making our trip so good!

Just finished LEJOG with Pedal Britain. I can’t recommend them highly enough. From beginning to end everything was looked after to absolute perfection. Early comms from the owner (Darren), helped settle nerves and aid preparation. Then as lift-off drew closer, the fabulous logistics arrangements kicked in, making sure bikes were picked up and delivered exactly as described. Throughout the tour, our amazing guides Les and Jamie kept us going with just the right amount of encouragement and humour. And of course the various lunch stops, brew stops and overnight stays are all perfectly organised and just what we needed after a hard day in the saddle. Pedal Britain really are the professionals in tour management and logistics, so if you’re looking for an amazing two-wheeled experience, without any of the hassle, I’d go for PB every time. France next for me (and hopefully some of the amazing friends I made on this brilliant tour). Thank you Darren, Les and Jamie!

Can’t speak highly enough of Pedal Britain. What a fantastic outfit led by Darren, and our two guides Jamie and Les were amazing, providing so much support, care and meticulous planning throughout. The professionalism, quality of service and immense experience on hand helped to deliver a once in a lifetime trip. No scrimping, quality throughout and value for money. Thanks for everything guys!!

My mate and I decided we were going to celebrate our 50th by riding Lands End to John O'Groats. We considered riding unassisted with panniers. Dismissed that as we wanted to enjoy the experience and wanted a bubble of support. So, we wanted a company...

We found Pedal Britain and liked their approach. We looked around and came back to PB. I thought in preparing, the price was a bit steep but concluded "it's a one off, it will ne worth it". So deposits were paid.

I write this now on the train back having just completed our odyssey. 5* doesn't come close. The route was amazing, we could have done less miles but we would have missed some beautiful parts of our country. The first night saw an eclectic group of people have a fairly awkward getting to know each other meal. From then on, this group came together and through shared joys and shared challenges, camaraderie and friendships were made. The organisation was superb. The lunch and brew stops outstanding.

As I reflect now, I wouldn't have done it any other way. Worth every penny. I don't think we would have done it any cheaper doing it ourselves and we wouldn't have known where all those little gems were along the way.

I wholeheartedly recommend Pedal Britain to anyone else planning their big adventure. Top tips:
1) Get a comfy seat for your bike
2) Train. Successive days of riding take their toll. You'll get fitter as you go but be in good condition before you start.
3) Pack Sudacrem. Lots of Sudacrem!
