Good so far. I just found your site. I will be using my 5 full days and will be glad to share my comments after I have explored and submitted for conversion my pdf's to html format.

Lisa was on it, I did not need the service, I explained myself and this is what the reply email was: I understand that you're concerned about your subscription. We'll
promptly issue a refund for the last payment and cancel your
subscription, so there will be no further charges. You will receive an
email confirmation once our payment team processes the transaction,
which should be within a few hours. We appreciate you giving our
service a try. Thanks kerry

Hat alles super geklappt, brauchte es für mein ebook zum verkleinern. 1€ für 5 Tage. Aber man muss beachten, das man es dann auch vorher kündigt, falls man es nicht länger benutzen will. Der Service antwortet auch schnell.

Easy way to make your private work

there is nothing about this that is good. The cover is black when it came with a pink cover page. The text is not with the illustrations, and is jumbled. It is completely unreadable. For free, Claude ai turned it into a true digital version of the book. Go back and look at what you sent me. It was NOT READABLE

Quick reply and I didn't need to explain a lot. A refund was easily granted.

I needed to convert the format of an image, from jpeg to png. I found Pdfpaw through ChatGPT.

I paid a one-off fee of £0.99, which allowed me a week to edit the image if I required.

I needed no further service, and thought nothing of it until I saw that my credit card been charged £29.99, twice.

I realised that I must have unwittingly subscribed.

I was shocked as I had had no intention of subscribing. Certainly I had not made a conscious decision to subscribe, as it is not a service I need.

I got my credit card company to block any further payments and contacted Pdfpaw for a refund as I had never intended to subscribe and, indeed, had not used their service beyond the single image format change, for which I believed I had paid in full.

Conversations with their chatbot "Lisa" led to them agreeing to cancel the subscription and refund one month's fee as, apparently, their system only allows for the refund of a single month's subscription.

I decided I would accept the payment and then take it up with their complaints department.

No payment has been received, despite chasing for months.

In addition, it turns out that there is no complaints department.

I have asked "Lisa" to pass me to a human. I'm not holding my breath...

Do be very careful when using this site to make sure you do not fall into their subscription trap.

I understand that this underhand business model is very common. Be aware!

Es funktioniert sehr einfach eine PDF in eine epub umzuwandeln. Es wäre schön gewesen, dass man vorher darauf hingewiesen wird, dass der Download kostenpflichtig ist.

I signed up for the $1.99 subscription and then they started taking out monthly subscriptions, that I didn't sign up for. Now they only have refunded me 1 subscription not the two that they took out and told me that was their policy. So how many others are there that this has happened to?? There is a problem with their link and it's their fault and they should do the right thing and refund me my 2 subscriptions. I have been a customer of pdf for 15 years and expect better.

Vorsicht vor Abo-Falle bei PDFPaw

Ich habe den Dienst von PDFPaw einmalig für 0,99 € genutzt, um eine Vektordatei zu erstellen. Einige Tage später erhielt ich jedoch über PayPal die Mitteilung, dass 39,99 € von meinem Konto abgebucht werden sollen – offenbar für ein automatisch gestartetes Abo.

Darüber wurde meiner Meinung nach nicht ausreichend transparent informiert. Ich habe daraufhin sofort den Support von PDFPaw kontaktiert und das Abo gekündigt. Die Kündigung wurde zwar bestätigt, die Abbuchung sollte jedoch trotzdem erfolgen.

Daraufhin habe ich einen PayPal-Streitfall eröffnet, woraufhin mir PayPal den Betrag sofort erstattet hat.

Interessant war anschließend die Reaktion von PDFPaw: Man forderte mich per E-Mail auf, den PayPal-Streitfall zunächst zu schließen, bevor man sich weiter um die Angelegenheit kümmern würde.
