Scamming bastards, had to use it for work paid the £1 cancelled showing as no account but oddly £46.45 went out on my card tonight do not use them

Do not use! They hide their subscription business model and then start charging you various amounts until you take action!
If you’ve already used then. I spoke to my bank, cancelled my card, used AI to draft a letter citing citing Subject: URGENT: Cancellation of Subscription and Refund Request Your Namec
To: PDF customers or related businesses ( I copied this onto the contact / help page on their website)
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to formally demand the immediate cancellation of any and all subscriptions associated with my account and/or my payment card ending in xxxx
I did not consent to a recurring monthly subscription. Your failure to clearly and conspicuously disclose the subscription terms at the point of sale constitutes a violation of consumer protection laws regarding unfair and deceptive billing practices.
I am formally requesting:
Immediate cancellation of any active subscription.
A full refund of the unauthorised charge(s) of £xxxx taken on xxxx
Confirmation in writing that my account has been closed and no further charges will be made.
Be advised that I have already contacted my bank to flag these transactions as unauthorized. If I do not receive confirmation of my refund and cancellation within 48 hours, I will escalate this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities and file a formal chargeback through my financial institution.

Es una estafa. Van relacionado con la cuenta pdfsupport. Cuando te das de baja de esta cuenta, que no tienes ningun problema y parece que todo esta correcto, despues se conecta a pdfcostumers.com y no hay manera de poder darte de baja pues no has entrado en ningun lugar para inscribirte. Ojo con esta ESTAFA!!

Es una auténtica estafa. Editas un pdf, pagas y me han cobrado 3 mensualidades de 50 € sin que yo fuera consciente hasta ahora. Repugnante.

Parte in automatico un abbonamento da 49€ al mese senza nessun avviso, e per annullare l'iscrizione bisogna fare i salti mortali. Semplicemente ladri.

This company is running what appears to be a highly deceptive and predatory billing practice. I was charged a one-time fee and then unknowingly enrolled in a $50/month subscription with zero clear disclosure or consent.

This is not just misleading—it feels intentionally designed to take advantage of customers. I have already reported these charges to my credit card company and will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and other consumer protection agencies.

If this is not resolved immediately, I am fully prepared to pursue further action. Businesses operating this way should be held accountable. Avoid at all costs.

Additionally, the cancellation process is unnecessarily difficult and misleading. After selecting what appears to be the initial cancel option, there are multiple additional pages (3+) requiring further confirmation steps to complete the cancellation. This type of flow is confusing and feels intentionally designed to discourage users from canceling.

I am from South Africa and I used their service once only to edit a pdf doc, sure it worked but the amount for a once off edit was far less then the R945.00 or approx USD 55 which went through my account, I managed to cancel the subscription but are now worried whether it will truly be cancelled. USD55 might not seem that much in some countries but to pay Rand South African of 945.00 could have given me quite a bit of petrol or groceries, but what comes around goes around, carma will catch up with them eventually.

I purchased a single file from them, that was suppose to be exported to excel, the file did not have any information in it, I wasted my money. Now they tried to take R945.00 from my account. I did not sign up for any subscription and they still want to take R945.00 my account without any authorisation from me 3 days after I purchased the single file from them. Please report them as a scammers and fraud

If there is a half star rating, i would give a half star coz they dont even deserve one full star! I only used pdf customers 2x and they charged me $49.95. Initially, that wasnt the amount that they presented. When i emailed them to cancel or at least lower the amount since i only used it 2x, they wouldnt do it. I dont know how they can go home to their families knowing theyre ripping off people during these very difficult times. Karma is real.

Betrüger! Bieten ein Wochenabo für wenig Geld an. Angeblich wird das zu einem Monatsabo und dann sind es knapp 50€. Keine Information darüber. Auf jeden Fall nichts dort kaufen. Da ist PDF Acrobat günstiger.

Same happens to me I don’t sign up and they have been charging every month I’m not even services . Fraudulent!

Used service for what I thought was free, then charged £1.40 to download the PDF which I was reluctantly ok about. Then received notification from my bank that they were charging £46.45 for a subscription which is a fraud as I never signed up this this. BEWARE and do not use this company.

Ich habe eine einmalige Zahlung eines kleinen Betrags (ein paar Euro) getätigt, um ein PDF bearbeiten zu können, und habe jetzt festgestellt, dass mir 3x ein stolzer Betrag von 49,95€ von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht wurde! Das ungewollte Abo habe ich jetzt gekündigt, aber ob ich das verlorene Geld jemals wieder bekomme ist fraglich…

My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. They lure you in by offering a cheap one-week trial, but the reality is much darker. Even after I canceled the service, they continued to process payments from my account without my consent and without any clear contract stating they could do so.

It took me three months to notice the recurring charges. When I contacted them to demand a refund for the months I was charged after canceling, they refused to take any responsibility. They just directed me to their hidden refund policy and flat-out denied my request. This is an incredibly unethical way to run a business. Do not give them your payment information. Avoid them at all costs!

I won't change my review until I get that money back in my account. And apparently I'm not the only one.
