I bought a Pawira cat fountain. It took a while to receive it. After it arrived, I cleaned it and followed the instructions about the filter and using the brush to clean the fountain tube. I plugged it in as per instructions and it did not work. I left out the adapter which was included and the fountain worked. I used my phone adapter and the fountain worked. I got in touch with them and let them know the adapter was bad. They asked for pictures of the adapter and how I was using it. I sent the pictures. They said they would send a replacement. Then they sent an email telling me they wanted me to take apart the fountain, clean it and try the adapter again. I do not have time for this nonsense. I will be contacting the BBB about their customer service. Probably going to send it back since my cat won't go near it.

I rarely write reviews, but this company deserves it. I’ve had the fountain for about five months and absolutely love it, but last week I noticed a tiny crack on the filter housing (totally my fault from dropping it while cleaning). I emailed their customer support just to see if I could buy a replacement part. Not only did they respond within 24 hours to apologize, but they sent me a tracking number a day later. I opened the package expecting just the small plastic piece, and they had sent me a brand-new, completely fresh fountain setup! You just don't see this level of customer service anymore. They have a customer for life.

This company is using a fake "DVM" Facebook page to convince people that buying any fountain off of Amazon, and not buying their product directly off of their website, will result in their cats getting sick. The post is full of misinformation (such as 304 grade steel being porous and harmful when it's literally food-grade material), and coincidentally, this ad is the only thing this Facebook page has ever posted (another a red flag). It's taking advantage of people and manipulating them by using emotional marketing to convince potential customers that "their product is the only good product."

cat will not use it. the area to drink from is too small.
I used a plastic pet safe one with spout on the side and larger area to drink from, but cat refuses to use the pawira one. so disappointed because it is metal so should be more hygienic, but cat doesn't like it after 2 plus weeks.

Very pissed that the product does not come from Canada but from China. Waiting for weeks. Grrrrr

Get me the product I ordered. It was expensive but I put faith into the company and I think you are all asshats

I just purchased a Pawira fountain recently and went online to track the purchase this morning. I was not pleased to learn then that this item is apparently made in and ships directly from China to the USA. I was under the impression, based on the website, that the Pawira is based in Canada. There isn't a mention of the items being made in China that I could see. Had I know this prior to purchase, I would not have purchased it. I hope it works as well as reviewers have stated and I expect it to do so, but I wouldn't purchase a fountain from this company again. Manufacture and shipping location should have been noticeably mentioned on the website.

I was not expecting this fountain to make such a difference. My cat has never been much of a water drinker, and it had me concerned for a while. I had tried everything I could think of, and nothing worked. But from the very first day I set this up, he started going over to it on his own. Now he goes back to it several times a day, drinking the way he should be. I could not believe it. The fountain runs so quietly you forget it is even there, and putting it together took no time at all. It does exactly what it promises to do. Knowing my cat is finally getting enough water has taken a real weight off my mind. If you have a cat who does not drink enough, I would tell you to try this without hesitation. It is worth every penny and it’s very cheap too.​​​​​​​​

I’m very impressed with Pawira, they are very customer friendly. Let me explain. I bought a Pawira Kitty Fountain sometime late last fall directly from them. After using it for about 6 months I notice that the little tab on the oval filter hold had broken. So I emailed Pawira explained my concern, added photos of what was the issue. About a 2 days later I got a email apologizing about this issue. Also that they were going to make good on my concern. A few days later I get a email telling me they had sent out a replacement. Now I’m thinking they meant the little tab on the filter lid. Well a few days later a package arrived. Pawira sent me a whole new Pawira Kitty Fountain! Well I will say that’s a quality company that believes in the customer comes first. I’m very impressed by their customer service. I wish other companies had this caliber of customer service.

This is the best cat water fountain ever. My cat mittens wouldn’t drink any water at all for almost one straight week! I was terrified. The vet said his kidney values were getting really bad and he was looking at kidney disease. I tried everything to help him but in reality I was just wasting money. Nothing I tried ever worked. My vet recommended this water fountain and even though I didn’t want to waste anymore money, I decided to give it one last chance… I’m so thankful I did.

As the advertising said your cats will drink more water and that is definitely happening! The fountain works well and is easy to maintain! I had a question and contacted the company and received an answer in a timely manner.

My cats always been picky about water, but with this fountain, she actually drinks from it multiple times a day. I'm also surprised at how quiet it is.

The water flow is gentle, not aggressive, which seems to make my cat more comfortable using it.

The water is so fresh all the time! My pets love drinking from it. Running water and the filter really keeps the water fresh. And I love how it has the UV light to kill the bacteria!

My cat is 17 years old this 2026. I researched a fountain for her because cats have an innate sense putting them off water with bacteria film on it , even when we don't see it. They need fresh water to protect their kidneys from dehydration. Pawira is made of stainless steel and has a window to see the water level. It is easy to clean. My cat started to use the fountain several times daily once I poured a small glass of water into the top tray to help her figure it out I chose this brand because plastic carries bacteria when scratched.

The product just a life save for your cats.

I got a fountain from Pawira for my little Keppo and he’s been drinking much better from it compared to the previous bowl. I have replaced the filter a few times now and seems to be working as expected.
