The application requires a lot of information and documents as backup.
The Patriot Angels were kind in explaining each thing and where best to obtain the information. In addition, the situstion with my mom was changing during this process. Patriot Angels team again was very patient and kind. They ensured we made all the necessary deadlines.
They followed up, explained it. Well, I made the whole process simple. I would wholeheartedly recommend Patriot Angels to rec someone else.
Reaching out to Patriot Angels is the best thing we did to help my father-in-law secure financial support while he ages. Patriot Angels manages each step required to file for VA benefits. They know the exact forms to submit with the application, and they are able to direct you to where to apply for any missing documents you need to include with the application. The process can be overwhelming, but with assistance from Patriot Angels, the process is made very manageable. The fee paid to Patriot Angels is well worth the investment. I am not sure we could have successfully filed the application without their help.
My mom went into assisted living last September. I received a recommendation to check out Patriot Angels since my dad was a veteran. I would like to say that I was very pleased with them. From my first phone call to my most recent contact they have been wonderful. They walked me through what the procedure was to keeping in touch to see if they could help with anything. There was paperwork that I had to provide for the process. It took me time to gather the proper paperwork but once I turned in everything the process went through fast. There is a fee for their work but I could never have done it on my own. If I had a question they walked me through it. Compared to what mom is receiving, the fee was nothing. I have to admit that I thought Patriot Angels was a scam when it was suggested to me by the company A Place For Mom. I can admit when I am wrong and I absolutely was! I am responsible for my 93 year old mother and she was literally running out of money for her care. I was funding as much care as I could for her as a newly retired person myself! My experience with Patriot Angels was literally first class treatment from start to finish. Every single person there was incredible! Given my mom’s age, I did not have 12-18 months to work directly with the VA and despite being a former 40 year corporate professional, my paperwork would have been rejected or returned because I did not know all of the appropriate forms and steps. I can 100% recommend Patriot Angels if you are navigating care for yourself or someone for whom you are responsible. My mother was perfectly qualified and now she and I have the peace of mind that she can live in a safe environment and receive the in-home care that makes her days and life more comfortable. That is priceless!!

My father, a vet, had died and my mother was alone and in need of assisted living at age 89. She had retired early and had a small retirement and social security. She was not qualifying for assisted living. The facility mentioned Patriot Angels help secure VA assistance for Vets or widows of Vets for this. They worked with me to gather everything needed and within a sort period of time the VA started sending checks to my mother who could now be in assisted living. Thank you Patriot Angels.
I eecommend Patriot Angels for any veteran who is seeking the VA Aid and Attendance benefits. The VA said they could have helped me with the aid and attendance application for FREE. The intake person at Patriot was dishonest about the “complication” of doing it myself. So an expensive out of pocket $1500 lesson learned…
PATRIOT ANGELS is a scam. You can get the exact same service by walking into your local VA and save yourself $1500. We got nothing from them for several months and only when I told them we were reporting them to the Vets fraud department did they start moving on our paperwork AND refunded us half the money. After talking to Veteran Affairs, they had never heard of P.A. and they said we could have easily done the whole thing ourselves for free.
I was completely satisfied with the assistance for help with getting the necessary paperwork for the VA. Also, it took less than 3 months to get the VA money. That helped tremendously with the finances for my mother.
This organization is filled with friendly, organized, responsive people from top to bottom. They kept their promise, and we saw our money inside of two months after filing. They know what they’re doing!
