I'd be very careful with this company

I'd be very careful with this company. They claimed that they mailed a refund check to me, but they didn't. They didn't have a tracking number or anything. Yet, they can see that the check has not been cashed. To correct this, they want me to get something notarized which will not even be worth the money they owe me. Not an honest company. You have been warned. I am sure the money owed to me is going into their pockets.

Very happy with Patelco

I joined Patelco before the pandemic having switched from San Francisco Federal Credit Union. I am happy to say I am a very satisfied/happy member. I have never had any discrepancies with my account and on the occasion when my account was compromised, I felt as though Patelco had my back. I love the fact that there are no fees, and my questions are promptly responded to.

Their IT system is AWFUL

Their IT system is AWFUL. I am in the process of moving to TechCU (who provides international wire transfers, PATELCO do NOT) and I have been trying for a week to set up TechCU as a transferee. Every time it fails with a message "Oh no, that didn't work. Try again later". So I tried repeatedly to set it up manually. Same result. I called their Online Banking Support and they were USELESS. Avoid these incompetents.!!

Was a member since late 1980

Was a member since late 1980. Just closed my account. IT department has suffered from incompetent technical personnel and poor management the last decade. Latest incident confirms this.

No communication

Patelco has gone a full 24 hours with no communication about what is happening to them. They are sending canned responses and have not sent out emails to the members. People are finding out because of social media. What happened to the best bank ever? The problem is it's still a bank.

Patelco Is The Best!

I have been banking with Patelco for more than two decades and they have never done me wrong! I use to back with Wells Fargo, but they ended up costing me big time. Patelco not only has great rates, their staff in the branches and on the phone are great. They have been really good about keeping my accounts secure as well. I love working with them!
